by hoj inisa 29:11-12 and the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, read this, i pray thee: and he saith, i cannot; for it is sealed: and the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, read this, i pray thee: and he saith, i am not learned.. another way of saying this is that the book is sealed to the one who has been taught, but not to the one who hasnt been taught.
the one who hasnt been taught just needs to be taught.. the things that we have been taught can keep us from understanding the bible.
any error in doctrines can keep us in error.

Utterly destroy
by hoj inmany times god orders his people to utterly destroy the enemy.
this one is from judges, the same book that had gideon's army which i see as allegory.
could this be figurative also?.

Do other religions change doctrine?
by serenitynow! inafter visiting with a couple of jws over the weekend; and for the first time talking about my true feelings about the org with active jws other than immediate fam, one of them mentioned something interesting.
when i talked about how with the constant changes to beliefs that i find it impossible to believe that the gb can be guided by the hs.
so one of the jws said, "other religions change doctrines around too.

How error entered the religious world
by hoj inadam and eve were to eat of any of the trees of the garden except the one.
they must have been fruit trees, since they were to eat of them.
eating (and drinking) in the bible is figurative of partaking of a message.
