So I just got called a narcissist

my family knows that i post on this forum (they have a packet of print outs of topics i have started) and they know about my videos on youtube.. they have made a demand that i cease all internet communication with the apostate community and then they will have me back.. i have refused.. they say i am a narcissist because i am ignoring the feelings of my family because they are very hurt by the things i am doing on the internet and speaking out against the religion.. interesting since they had to search out my posts and videos to gather evidence of apostasy.. -sab.

Offering your religion as the true faith as apposed to false ones is simply what Jesus did denouncing the Jews and false gods of other faiths but his main thrust has always been presenting the the Kingdom message which is our main thrust too.

This is a lot different from making your whole goal the destruction one particular religion alone. When showing our religion is the true one we stick to our adherance to God's word the bible and it's teachings. We will leave the destruction of false religion to Jehovah he doesn't need our help.

Witnesses are not wrong or hurtful! You and others on here simply don't want to be witnesses. Like most on here this was once a religion you loved and valued. But hate is the other side of love and it is easier to justify hate by demonising what you once loved so much.

The question is why do you have to be so actively apposed to witnesses?

You have chosen to publically denounce and taking an active oppostion to everything Jehovah's witnesses stand for.

You are not only saying witnesses are not the choice for you but then going that step further into apostasy which means you actively set yourself up against them trying to stumble others via youtube out of the witnesses.

I think your parents make a fair point if you are actively against witnesses how could you live with two Jehovah's witnesses in such a hostile position without it causing a lot of trouble for you all?

He is not just being a different belief but has chosen to appose witnesses and is active in his opposition.

this is one of the top thought stopping phrases here.. it invalidates any argument presented against the organization.

it basically says this:.

"it doesn't matter who did what in the org, it doesn't matter how bad things get, we are the only ones doing what jesus did, therefore all errors and corruption are disregarded as we await the end.".

Non-dominational church isn't that an oxymoron? what can a non-commital faith preach except only the very basic, depthless teachings?

Some Religions still sometimes make an attempt at preaching but what is their message? If they are simply preaching a triune god not found in the bible does this count?

It is not just that the Jehovah's witnesses preach world-wide (which fewer religions even attempt because their blurred faith undermines preaching a specific bible teaching with confidence) It is that I saw them preaching the most accurate teachings reflecting what the bible actually says in harmony with it all not just proof texting scriptures for their own doctrine.

One of the biggest changes from Jews to Christians is living by Bible principles not just a set of rules. Understanding why something is wrong. Without it having to be specifically mentioned biblically. Being able to see from fruitage the way the world is wrong in God's eyes not just because we are told it is wrong.

Some of the oldest questions in the book are; Does it matter what we believe? Who is our Almighty God that we obey? Why should we obey Jehovah?

Would you have any simpathy for someone who only became a Nazi because he was born in that country as a German?

It's easy to use the evil that Nazi's did as examples to justify war but in recent years America and England have gone into countries under the Heading of "war" slaughtering countless thousands of men, women and children when those nations haven't even sent one weapon our way. Their "potential" threat was enough or their support of those that did sent the weapons was enough.

When a man is holding his dying child in his arms killed by a bomb dropped by Americans or English because they only thought his leaders had WMD(weapons of mass destruction) who is the monster?

At what point does the conquering hero become a slaughtering monster? When one innocent is killed or two? When you can justify the innocents killed against the end of a war?

It's learning that worldly wars solves nothing it only creates more wars. And we learn this from Jesus and from the Bible the principle of not killing of turning the other cheek.

We glamourise war in this world welcoming back the conquering heroes but do we ask them what it felt like to kill another human because you are told too and usually don't even know why?
