one of my witness family members agreed to take a look at crisis of conscience, and after.
perusing the first couple of chapters, said that she thought it could be all made up.
agreed that the documents presented could be legitimate, but as far as franz's personal.

i'm hoping that someone can help me out a bit with a response to someone over at beliefnet.
they gyst of the thing is this person keeps insisting that, according to some elders and active jw's they know, the wts does not nor has ever claimed that a person has to be associated with the org to be approved by god.
this person claims the wts says that "christianity" is god's organization and that as long as a person conforms their life to the bible they don't have to be a jw to be approved by him.. they also say that the wts doesn't teach that all other religions are worshipping (giving honor) to satan.
Yep its pretty bad over there, i have been banned for 30 days
anyone who knows me, knows that i stick to what is IN Print and for that reason i was banned
you got to love it
JT aka JACE
i asked a jw several questions via email ....this was the only question she has answered.. the first page talks about false doctrines.
do jehovah's witnesses feel that they are prophets?
the title of this is "the end of false religion is near" that sounds like a prophesy.. this is her answer.. whatwastheroleoftheprophets?.
can you say Parrot
i'm curious because after working for attorneys i know how they bill.
by the 10 minute increment, per document etc.. i can't believe they would have enough qualified attorneys volunteering time and labor to cover every aspect of their various legal problems.
is this perhaps where all the money is going?.
there was a black Dr from Cleveland OH that was put into a Brownstone in broooklyn he had like 3 little girls and a son, when i was at bethel
today two of his daughters are married to bethelites
when the wt needs a speacial skill they will do what it takes
there was a bro from Conn, who caught the train to brooklyn every day- yes 2hours folks
and the word at bethel was since his wife was a nonjw they could not come to bethel so they hired him at a reg salary so he could live on the outside, keep his wife happy, make a good lawyers income and provide his expertise to the wt
nothing unusal at all about how the wt operates
wt is a billion dollar corp folks, money is no object - when you got 6 millions folks willling to send $$$$$ at the drop of a hat, they can afford it

Wt uses in house layers
Greg allen, jim andrik, carolyn wah, olseen and they used to have big Bell , along with others
they also use outside law firms-
bethelite lawyers don;t get to bill, outside lawyers and the wt setup their own payment plans like any other client / attorney arrangement
nobody ever said that the end was coming in 1975.. all the hype about this date that has continued all the way down through today came from a talk in the early 70's by fred franz.
in this talk, franz pointed out the significance of the 7 creative days and how they correspond with 1,000-year time intervals.. he then said, "could the end come in 1975?
there's so much wrong with jehovah's witnesses from their rigid legalism to their faux love, but let's call a spade a spade about the 1975 thing..
"But I'm going to go back to my own point and mention that this was not said by the wts, it was mentioned by a speaker who put his own words into it."

If a DO, Elder or CO stood on the platform or a pioneer on a bible study said:
"The 144,000 is not a literal number"
you your opinion what do you think would happen to that person?
How long do you think the Society would allow any jw to put those statements out-
If your purpose is to convince a dye hard jw that the wt is wrong, then you have truly failed to grasp what it means to be in a high control group-
you never prove anything to a man who doens't want to beleive it- don't you know that
what do you think double think double speak and congnitive Dissonance is??
" i seem to remember a quote from one of the watchtower publications (in fact, i remember reading it when it came out and was rather perplexed at it) that stated that it was not necessary for jws to do any reading and/or researching outside of the watchtower publications because the brothers at bethel had already done that research for them.. .
.
does anyone know where i can find the quote above.
JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in less than 5 min i found would i was looking for- Thanks Rebel- I owe you dinner
this is why there is no reason for any jw to be in the dark on the wt
they have all the answers at thier finger tips, they just have to have the desire and be wilingly to READ!
12 How will we put these four things into effect? First, study: We may think of study as hard work, as involving heavy research. But in Jehovah?s organization it is not necessary to spend a lot of time and energy in research, for there are brothers in the organization who are assigned to do that very thing, to help you who do not have so much time for this, these preparing the good material in The Watchtower and other publications of the Society. But you do not study enough? Take this suggestion: Often the very best and most beneficial studying you do is that done when you read a new Watchtower or Awake! or a new book with the joy of getting the new truths and a fresh view.
hi there, new to the board.

i am new here and have been "lurking" for several months.
the discussions have helped me tremendously to break free from the society.
i want to thank you all for your help and heartfelt posts.
overcome the fear of Jehovah destroying me for not agreeing with the Society.

in afew years you will look back in complete disbelief that you actually believed that not listening to an American Book Publishing Company based out of New York City meant the God of the Heavens would destroy you.
we all know the feeling , been there done that bought the tee shirt- smile
