  okay, so the jws (and my mom) would be so happy if i started going to meetings again.

  i've made it clear i don't believe what they say so why would they care if i went to meetings?

  do they want me to go meetings and be an open dissenter?

I've made it clear I don't believe what they say so why would they care if I went to meetings? Do they want me to go meetings and be an open dissenter? I can see if I was a fader or something but I've made my viewpoints pretty clear. I do not believe anything the WT says. Why would they want to see me at meetings?

  i just realized, i have to explain the joke so you guys will get it.

  in some churches, communion is open to anyone who has been baptised regardless of denomination or church affiliation at baptism.

  so, even though one may be confirmed or baptised at one church, it can be acceptable to go to another church and receive communion.

  NeverKnew... don't even bother going to the Memorial.

  I doubt he will answer yes. He will probably give you some convoluted answer about having to baptised as a JW. That is unless you give him no time to answer.

  i saw this on facebook, posted (to the public) by an exjw named mathew tallman and i had to share it.

  i freakin' love it!

  mr. tallman, the owner of the tattoo said, "i used to draw a little gun in his hand during the meetings when i was a kid.

  leaving_quietly, if you read between the lines it is saying "Conventions are joyous. Aren't you joyous? You should be so joyous that you are willing to even use your credit card to donate!"

  On a side note I would not be surprised if they started using those things you plug into your phone to do credit/debit card transactions so they can start doing it at the KH.

  the seven trumpets have not yet been sounded

  in the book revelation its grand climax at hand in chapter 18 (earthquakes in the lords day) on page 112, the writers mention that the sixth seal is going to be opened some time in the future and yet they go on to mention in chapter 21 (jehovahs plagues on christendom) that the seven trumpets have already been blown and they give explanations of the fulfillment of these trumpet blasts in mankinds history.

  however, i believe it is impossible for the seven trumpets to have been sounded before the opening of the sixth seal because firstly, as they pointed out in the book, the sounding of the seven trumpets is ushered in by the opening of the seventh seal, which seal is only opened after the sixth seal has been opened as happened with the other seals.

  the seals were opened or are opened in order form the first to the seventh, which is the last, without skipping one and going to the next.

  I don't usually say LOL but I'm saying it now... LOL. Are they seriously quoting a scripture to justify using debit/credit cards for donations?

  

  I mean, I can see instituting the card readers but to somehow tie it into a scripture?
