John Wayne loves to portray a fake soldier but when it came time for him to fight for real, he chickened out. Bad example of a tough guy to use.

at the circuit assembly this weekend i noticed two guys reinstated within the last year were both serving as attendants.
i thought brothers had to be "exemplary" to do that kind of work.

It's best to just ignore anything the JW's say and pass it off as bull crap. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble that way.

i owe this question entirely to hadit but i cannot get this thought out of my head.
all i heard growing up was that we have to call god jehovah because they are many god's, this way jehovah knows we are trying to speak to him.
that is just one of many reasons the fds and wt say to why we much call him jehovah.
I never thought of that but it's a very good point.
I'll just have to start calling him dad or Mr. Jehovah now, or better yet I just won't talk to him at all.

Honestly, it doesn't make sense. I've brought it up before. How would a loving God allow the suffering to go on. According to JW explanation he's not responsible because he didn't cause Adam and Eve to sin. He has the cure for what ails us and fails to give it to us. He's no better than a third world dictator.
i relate to your pain and suffering.
you remind me of the struggle i had for over a year, where i was pushing myself to go the meetings and even gave public talks because of friends and family, even when i knew it was all bullshit.
i was so sick to my stomach, that i literally felt like puking during the meetings.
This post is absolutely phenomenal. I find myself in the same situation you once did. I will be out soon enough. Just getting all my arrangements in order at this time.
