  Do JW's donate blood?

  i raised this point in another, short lived, thread but feel it needs more thought...... at least some other opinion.. now, before we go too far in this discussion i reckon i know the answer and it's an empahtic no!.

  but.... how can they, in all conscience, receive the fractions they are now supposedly permitted to take?

  is it another case of..... "living in the world but being no part of it"?

  The Bible will tell you ANYTHING if you torture it long enough. Just look at how many "christian" religions, sects and cults there are.

  The blood issue, to the WT, is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

  i know the un one, of course different pedophile ones, their involvement with anca, and i'm learning the deal on the bible printing they did for some folks in thailand.

  i just need some more logs to put on my fire, i'm hoping to hear anything and everything, with links please if possible.

  There are threads on the WT trading on crude oil. Another thread has scans of a fine imposed on the WT for pollution related to a shale mine they own. Of course, their use of Rand Cam shares for many years until it was exposed.

  well, not yet, but if the governing body decides that it's okay to celebrate christmas and birthdays .... how do you suppose the typical jw would feel ... especially those who lived their whole life being told to not celebrate and.

  Bad thread title but their policies' chnge are not hypothetical. Beyond meaningless celebrations, you have prohibition reversals of tissue transplants, blood fractions and vaccinations. How many lives this cult stole? Did they apologize or even compensate surviving relatives?

  this is *if* you believe in god / a god / gods.

  there are moments when i sit down and have a conversation, almost with myself, because even though i am looking up at the heavens/searching my soul, there is no answer, no supernatural feeling, it is quiet and still, but i speak the words just in case there is something listening.. if there is a god and he is all that he claims to be through all the religions on this earth, why doesn't he rule us as a god should?

  why doesn't he come on down and sort out this world?

  Well, thanks for assuming you know the whole trajectory of my life and state of my psyche, I have no phobias (at least not this), and no black clouds.

  It is not an assumption to remark the obvious, that you are cought in a religious mind-control cult and that your independent thinking has been replaced by phobias and that you are slaving away and fighting windmills for a multinational printing corporation.
