  Governing Body Running Scarred and 12-13-14 "Might Be the End"?

  this went bad, i hit click before i could post my thoughts about the fear factor going through our crazy kingdom hall.

  the title of this thread was aimed at asking why the governing body is becoming so afraid and demanding the elders and rank and file to put their trust in the dukes of the kingdom hall.

  The Watch Tower Society is a Doomsday cult that claim to

  " (1) Bible : Hold to the Bible as the standard for all thier beliefs "_____Reasoning Book page 199

  They also claim

  " That the Bible is the right standard against which to measure one's religion. "____Reasoning book page 204

  Why is that ? Becuase the Bible states they wouldn't know

  Jehovah's Witnesses also claim

  But the Bible states that Jesus said

  " The Kingdom of God is not coming with striking observableness, "_____ Luke 17:20

  Jehovah's also Witnesses say

  " That God's Kingdom was established in 1914 "______Reasoning book page 95

  .

  But the Bible states that Jesus says

  " niether will people be saying, See here ! or, There ! For look ! the Kingdom is in your mist " _____Luke 17 : 21

  There's not much that can be done for those stuck in

  But for those who are approached by a Jehovah's Witness

  only rational thoughts are accessible to rational arguments.

  once the category of "god" is established in your mind (usually at an early, impressionable age) you can't ever close the file.. it is unassailable.. why?because it becomes rooted before you develop rational thinking skills.. categories of ghosts, devils, superstitions hold true as well.. what you can do (since they cannot be removed) is modify your emotional reactions connected to these concepts.. what are emotions?

  they are signals (like beacons) informing you of the importance of your values.. the most deeply-rooted values signal the strongest emotional responses.. what you perceive to be a threat signals fear.

  The Literature Stands

  just got a visit from two jw's and i mentioned the literature stands they have now.. i mentioned i walk past their stand they set up in my town every thursday on my way to work.

  last week the stand was smaller and i asked why was it smaller.

  no answer..... i then said you guys usually go door to door dont you?

  last week the stand was smaller and i asked why was it smaller.

  today my mom called me three times at work to tell me how "worried" she was about my spirituality.. i so wanted to tell her some ttatt but just said, "mom, i am fine spiritually.

  if i am ever in trouble spiritually, i will tell you.

  meanwhile, i would really appreciate it if you left my relationship with god a private matter.".

  Accordin' to thier own definition, Jehovah's Witnesses are indeed the Antichrist

  is that ISAIAH 43:10 was qouted before the birth of Christ

  After the resurrection, Jesus was given the authority to be able to tell

  his followers to be witnesses of him in ACTS 1:8

  When you read the books in the order that they were written

  there is nothin' that overides ACTS 1:8

  the WTS tries to compare themselves to Nathan the prophet

  .

  Thing is, Nathan did not claim what he told King David was from Jehovah

  it was only an opinion of his, that was corrected that very same night by an angel that was sent

  .
