Oh, but Smiddy3, he has, he has! Years ago, in the mid-1970s, he appeared to a mild-mannered grocery store clerk, and he appeared as an old man! Oh, wait, that was a movie, "Oh God." (With George Burns and John Denver) Ooops, sorry, I couldn't resist. Best Regards.....Titch.

Does anybody ever wonder why ?
by smiddy3 insupposedly, god jehovah, el , or whatever else he may have been called many thousands of years ago, or so the storys goes ,dealt with humans on a regular basis communicating with them for either good or bad.according to how they pleased him or displeased him.. so the bible record says.. how is it that god , jehovah or whatever other name you want to call him has not communicated with humans on any level for the past 2000 years ???.
in this scientific ,technological age ,wouldn`t you think this would be the time he would communicate with the potential dangers we face in potentially destroying ourselves and ruining the planets wildlife unless he interveined ?.
that`s if you even beleive that such a god actually exists .. and if he does why so silent in this day and age,?.

How About.....YOU Doing the Shunning?
by titch inhello, folks: about a month ago, stan livedeath started a post about.
how many of the readers here on the site have been or are now being shunned by friends/relatives?
well, let's turn that around a little bit: how many of the readers here have purposely shunned a witness, when they encountered them?

Hello, Folks: About a month ago, Stan Livedeath started a post about. How many of the readers here on the site have been or are now being shunned by friends/relatives? Well, let's turn that around a little bit: How many of the readers here have purposely shunned a Witness, when they encountered them?
I did just that, years ago, around the late 1990s. I was walking around a major department store here in Southern California. As I was walking around, I came up behind a Witness who I had known. (In fact, this was the man who offered me my very first paid job, working for his small janitorial business, and I worked for and with him, for many years.) I recognized him by his short stature, and the usual "suit" that he wore to meetings. But, upon seeing him, I stopped, turned around, and immediately walked over to another part of the store, before he could see me, and shun ME! I don't think that he ever saw me in that store, that day. So, that was my experience with shunning a Witness who I had recognized. So, has anyone else had a similar experience? Best Regards, Everyone.---Titch.

Wow, Happy Dad, you are quite the talented artist! I can't even draw a correct "stick figure." Thanks for sharing those with us. But, the final one, about the difficult thing about owning a dog, I think that could apply to owning a cat, too! And, Peaceful P, kind of thought that's what you meant, but I just needed some clarification. Thanks. You know, I have adopted a phrase used by Mr. Flipper: His concluding thought was, "Peace Out." I use that phrase when signing off the air after a radio conversation, with a fellow Ham. Oh, well, that's just me.....Best Regards.....Titch.

Peaceful P: Well, I do hope that over the years that you and your wife have been "hammies" that you have renewed your licenses every 10 years. It's very easy to renew the license when it comes time to do so, which you probably already know. Yes, the fact of getting the license can be a novelty. It was for me when I first got licensed in 1986. Communication by radio has been interesting for me. Oh, and yes, What is a "prepper"? Just curious. Best Regards, Everyone.....Titch.

Hobbies, eh? Well, I indulge in radio. By that I mean, that I am a licensed Amateur Radio Operator, having been licensed since 1986. Hard to believe that it's been 36 years, this month, but it has! I also have a few radio scanners, that receive a bunch of frequencies, and I do monitor those once in a while. I have 3 good working 35mm cameras that use film. I used to enjoy going to local parades here in SoCal, and photographing celebrities that were in the parade. But, since COVID-19, a lot of parades have been cancelled. So, I have kind of lost interest in photography. I hope to revive that interest in the future. So, there you go. Best Regards....Titch.

AudeSapere: I do remember Jim Simon quite well, and listened to his show on KABC, primarily, and on KGIL Wasn't he associated with a congregation in Fountain Valley? I recall seeing him once, at a District Assembly that was held at the now-defunct, now demised, now-demolished Hollywood Park Race Track---which has been replaced by SoFi Stadium. He was relating some experiences that he had, while he was in the Middle East. (I think that was in 1976, or 1977, or 1979) But, yeah, he was probably influential in getting Theresa Graves on "Religion On The Line." Best Regards, Everyone----Titch

Here in the Southern California area, there is a radio station, KABC/790 AM, that has been a talk-radio station for many years. Every Sunday evening, they would have a show called "Religion On The Line". I do remember Theresa Graves being invited to expound upon the persecution of Witnesses in Malawi, and I think that she appeared on that show around 1974 or 1975. (Don't remember which year that was) But, yeah, she did come on that show, way back when. Best Regards to all.....Titch.

Or, you'd think that Kenneth Copeland had just arrived...or Jimmy Swaggart had just arrived.....Oh, well. Best Regards, everyone (No, I'm NOT ready for "this")

Folks: Well, here in the United States, tonight, July 19th, is when the MLB All-Star Game will be played. And, it will be played at Dodger Stadium, in Los Angeles, California. For those of you who don't know, the All-Star Game is a game in which members of the American League teams compete with members of the National League teams. Myself, I plan to watch it on TV.
But, while watching it, I can think back, that on this date, in 1969, I was THERE, in that stadium. Yes, 53 years ago today I was attending the 5th day of the "Peace On Earth" International Assembly of the JWs. It was a 6-day assembly, that began on Monday of that week, and went until Sunday, July 20th. (That was the day that the first humans arrived at Luna---the Moon) It was an assembly that began at 9:00 a.m. every day, and lasted for 12 hours. Now, of course, we had intermissions during the day, and we usually had a break of about 2 hours every late afternoon. I myself, volunteered to work in one of the refreshment stands during the assembly. Oh, what fun we had that week!
So, for anyone reading this post, Were YOU there that week? What was YOUR experience with a 6-day or a 7-day international assembly? Best Regards....And, GO Baseball Teams!.....Titch.
