  what do you guys think it could be?.

  my guess is a study companion to go with their new jesus series, they really need to rebrand at this point..

  FatFreek: You're right....it was Peggy Lee. Well that's what happens when you get old, like me. The memory fades. Oh well. Yeah, Peggy Lee did make it a hit, back around 1969/1970.   St. George: Your comment kind of reminds me of a song, recorded by Patty Page, back in 1970, entitled "Is That All There Is?" You might remember it; the theme of the song was that after major life events happened, all that she could say was..."Is that all there is?" (Is that all there is to a circus? Is that all there is to a house fire? Is that all there is to a love relationship breakup? ) So, come November 6th, they'll be saying....Is that all there is....to a sealed, secret box? Is that all there is? Yeah, "is that all there is? Is that all there is? If that's all there is, my friend, then let's keep dancing...let's break out the booze, and have a ball...if that's all, there is."

  To All Those Keen To Tell Us About Their Beliefs

  we seem to have had an influx of religiots - the people who want to tell us all about how we / the wts / whoever are wrong, wrong, wrong about everything and how right they are.

  they obviously have special insight, or voices (probably voices, right?

  ) telling them the real truth.. as proof, there is inevitably a wall of random scripture references and quotes.. sorry, but we're not here for that.

  That is interesting. I have two cellular phones, with service by TracFone, and they are "flip-phones" . One is kept in my car at all times, and the other one is kept inside my residence. BUT----I STILL have a landline phone in my residence. Because I WANT one. I still have a use for a regular land-line phone. With the two TracFones, I refill their airtime and days of use when I need to . Airtime cards all over the place, they can be bought at stores everywhere. Or, I can just call their toll-free number and refill the phones' airtime with a credit card. No problem. Best Regards, Everyone----Titch.

  With me, it was when I came to the full, complete realization, that I, as a human being, have no spiritual hunger, no spiritual cravings---that needed to be satiated or satisfied, by any religious belief system or structure.   Biden running in 2024 🤣

  i've filed this under news and world events, although i could've posted it under entertainment, lol.

  apparently, joe biden will be seeking re-election for another term in the white house.. this, despite a recent poll showing that 70% of people don't want him to run again.. biden just has to be the worst president i've seen.

  his gaffes, over-relience on a prompter, and, more than any other president, his refusal to answer journalists' questions, all go to make him top of the list in terms of bad presidents.. it will certainly provide entertainment, if nothing else..

  Personally, I do believe that the political situation here in the United States is so screwed up, that I don't even want to consider voting for a President come 2024. I am a registered voter, and I am registered as a Democrat. But---I feel that the Democratic Party should put forward a strong Presidential Candidate who will be able to stand up to the absolute bully that Donald J. Trump is and has been. It has to do that---it must do that. Now I don't know if the Republican Party will nominate D.J. Trump as their Candidate of choice in 2024. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But, if I were to register as a Republican, and Michael Pence were to declare his candidacy for President in 2024, and his name were to be on the Primary Election ballot here in California where I live, i would vote for Michael Pence. And why is that? Because I have much more respect for Mr. Pence than I do for Donald J. Trump. Much more respect. For doing the right thing back in January of 2021, and standing up for principle, and standing up to the bullying of Donald Trump, and adhering to the U.S. Constitution; and doing no more or less than the Constitution allowed him to do. But, we'll see what happens in 2024. As I started out, I have become so disillusioned by the political situation here in the United States, that I might just "sit this one out"---the 2024 Presidential Election.   Folks: As a point of interest.....In my early years of being an Amateur Radio Operator, I crossed paths, on the air, and in person with a fellow Ham Operator who had the name of "Betty Ray Dunbar." (He had the call sign of W6BWX) That information is "gleaned" from the annual publication called the "Amateur Radio Callbook." That person was definitely a male, and he preferred to be addressed as "Ray." But, yeah, it can happen. I don't know why his parents named him "Betty Ray", but apparently they did. Betty Ray passed away several years ago, so I doubt that he's reading this Internet forum, in order to object to being identified by name and call sign.   i was the sign language interpreter for our congregation and there was about 15-20 deaf who regularly showed up.

  if a publisher openly told the elders that they thought the gb were wrong about some or a lot of things, but said they will not share these thoughts with anyone else then would this be a case of disassociation disgfellowship?.

  my guess is lots of elders meetings and shepherding calls to try to get you to say something they could use against you.. but what would be the sin in which you are not repented?.

  the only reason to be dissed is non repentance?.

  That's interesting what Vidiot stated, that merely thinking that the Governing Body is wrong about something technically constitutes apostasy. So then, how would anyone know that you were thinking that way, unless you expressed that idea to someone else, either verbally or in writing? Thus, the two rules expressed by Hoser.
