Standard of Living in the New System
by cobaltcupcake ini used to wonder about this when i was still a dub: since they believe the industrialized world is going to be destroyed and the entire earth will be one big garden, exactly what kind of standard of living do they think they will have?
while they might be able to scavenge, say, a microwave oven or washing machine; and they might be able to figure out how to generate electricity, eventually all of these things will wear out and they'll be back in an early 18th century type of life.
people of that time and earlier who enjoyed a high standard of living employed armies of servants to do the dirty work, but since equality will reign in the ns, everyone will have to toil like a slave just to maintain the basics.. or do they think that big j will magically power their washing machines and water pumps and all the stuff that makes modern living so comfortable?.

My birthday
by Chariklo intoday i am celebrating my first birthday after dutifully refusing to observe birthdays, thanks to the jehovah's witnesses.
not for as many years compared with most of you, but enough, and worst of all was that i dutifully refused even to celebrate my grandchildren's birthdays.
that hurt me far more than them.

I totally understand that and thats 100% legit. Nobody wants to be compared or have to answer for some else's POV.... But I hope you can understand why i asked, specifically, what YOU heard in light of the fact that
1)the name jehshua isnt at all a common rendering for the lord
2) the only person I have ever personally encountered that used it was Aguest
Those points led me to ask about the second part she adds to it and if you had heard that as well. It was a legitimate question that i asked YOU, not about her but about YOU, in light of her useage and your friendship with her.
