Did you read the book "1984" of Georges Orwell?

this book is one of the best book i've ever read.

it describe well the technics that the watchtower use to manipulate their jehovah's witness.

A MUST read for those who are exiting mind control cults like JW's, Mormons etc. It was my first book that I started to read when I was in the process of getting out the Borg.

It discribes the technics that Big Brother - the leaders of the party have been using upon the masses. And I was suprised to see that the GB was doing the same.

My favorite line from this novel that fits exactly to the WT is:

Everything faded into mist...the past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became truth...

Are JWs seeing signs of the end now?

i was talking with my dad last night and during our call, he started talking about all the storms to hit florida, the earthquake in california (that didn't damage anything), and mt.

saint helens on the verge of erupting.. he didn't come right out and say it, but i got the feeling he was trying to slip in some kind of warning.

the old 'sign of the end' type of stuff.

Jw's are seing the end of the world and the signs since 1871.

They are thrilled to hear about wars(in our days usually made in U.S.A) and people dying from them. Children dying from hunger and with their dying eyes asking for little food ( the remains of our dinner it will be enough for them )

They are thrilled to hear about people dying from earthquakes and harricanes, in terrorist attacks, people dying from aids ( specially in the poor african countries )people dying from heart disease ( because we eat a lot of meat and junk food sitting in our sofa and watching tv all this bad things in front of our eyes without really giving a shit. And all we care is what kind of dress did Cameron Diaz appeared at the Oscar awards, or who is the new boyfriend of Jennifer Loppez )

Hundred years from now still the WT will see signs of the end.

Hard to get over: No New System

i have to tell you something.. i really find it hard getting over the idea of no new system and all that it meant to me.

to be with my children and their children forever in perfect health.. too many days it just leaves me empty.

i just wish i could shake it and enjoy life, but the idea that we just live for 70 years and die kills me.

Well the New System was existing only in the mind of the WT, so it was never real. Because the lie it was told too many times we believe it.

There is life after death, and nothing dies. We come and we go, and the journey it was always like that. I consider my staying here on earth as an opportunity to clean my soul and set things right as I will continue to the journey to find God

How Many People Are Less Stressed Since Leaving The Witnesses?

do you feel better----emotionally and mentally since stopping meetings and living under the rules of the witnesses?

i've heard reports of better physical and mental health since persons have left the organization.

For sure I'm feeling less stress. I don't have any guilt that I didn't make the reasonable hours at the end of the month, no fear that God will destroy me because I didn't help anyone to come to the truth, or that I don't do enough to please the Old Men in Brooklyn.

Plus I can listen to any kind of music without giving a sh..t what the 'brothers' will say, going to the football game of the Blues, and waving the flag of my country, celebrating when we win, and be proud for what I'm, knowing that I'm carrying a history of 5000 years, and when we were writting history, arts, philosophy, culture, science, created the Olympic Games, DEMOCRACY with the true meaning the ancestors of the FDS were hanging over the trees!!!

And the most important is that the new testament was written in Hellenic language the most reach language in the world, and I don't need any psychopathetic leaders of an american cult to explain to me what the words of Jesus...

Indeed the WT is degenerating. They have become a club. A club that to maintain your membership you have to follow their rules thats all.

My personal expierience shows that as time goes by more and more JW's suffer from deepression (specially the old ones and those who where sacrificed from their parents in the altar of the generation)

I have seen many JW's suffering from drinking problems. Some of them suffer from panic attacks, personality disorders, some are violent and have unhappy family lifes. This observations are based upon my personal experience in the WT world.

Time is running out for the WT. Unfortunately the leaders of this cult still have the same attitude and policy despite of their failure!!!!

something that has always perplexed me are football fans and their loyalty to a particular club.

Football it is much more interesting from JW's meetings

Football is the most exiting game in the universe

The final between Portugal and Hellas was broadcasted over to 2 billion people in the world(do you recall such number to listen to a puplic talk?)

There was a great celebration all over my country when the Hellenic boys lift the European Cup. All of us(and I mean ALL the Greeks all over the world from U.S to Australia 22 millions) we were out drinking and celebrating until the early morning hours, waving our flag, singing and dancing the Greek Zorpa.

So there is no event in WT world that can push millions to act like that!!!

So I'm glad that I got out from them and I was lucky to celebrate along with all the Greeks the way that we ONLY know how to celebrate.

You Will Know By The Love They Have Among Themselves

the organization of jehovah's witnesses boasts of having true brotherly love for one another.

i always believed they did, although i never felt it growing up in it.

i reckoned that there was something wrong with me since i never felt that "joy" and "spirit of love" that supposedly permeated the congregations.

Personally I believe that JW's are like any other human beeing on this earth. You find good people and bad.

The only thing to blame is the Org because of their policy they have destroyed the lives of many people, but most of all their fulure to show real Christian love

Can You Picture Jesus Christ Being a Jehovah's Witness???

think about that for a moment....... if jesus was a jw(as jws claim), how would he have handled various situations??

for example, if peter denied him 3 times, what would've been different?

or if the disciples fell asleep the night before he was to die, how would a jesus christ jehovah's witness have handled it?.......you get the idea.

If Jesus was acting like Judge Jo(who is the real former of Jw's today) we would have the following

Maria Magdalene would have been his girlfriend

Judas wouldn't betrayed Him because Jesus would handle the money of the safebox

Peter would be disfellowshiped because he denied Him 3 times, hence he will loose the privelage to talk at the Pentecost

At His reseruction He wouldn't talk to the women that came to the grave to grief(women in the WT world have no such rights!!!)

So if Jesus was a JW we would have a different Bible than the one we have now, because the all meaning it would have changed!!!
