Do JWs really believe the end is near?

or do they merely pay lip service to the idea?

i have no doubt that some of them sincerely believe.

but when i was a kid, growing up in the '80s, i didn't know of a single witness, myself included, who didn't believe the end was close.

The old ones do believe that...I'm sure about it, but the young ones no way. They are only part of a club called WT

Mr. Flipper & Son Hear, See, and Get Footprints of Bigfoot on Pack Trip

so, the long awaited trip began for my son and i to return to the same place he heard a bigfoot a year ago in the forests of northern california.

the trip started out unfortunately for us to be a 7 mile hike instead of a 2 to 3 mile hike in to our base camp , as huge snow drifts covered the road , making it even inaccessible for 4 wheel drive, so , with packs on backs we hiked over 50 ft long snow drifts on places on the trail.

even snow was covering one creek near the lake we were destined for .

I have seen some documentry films regarding Bigfoot..maybe it is a humanoid to the evolution of human race...

like many i was about 7 or 8 when my parents were baptized.

being a child you naturally trust that your parents are doing the right thing and follow them.

i was baptized at 15-how often i wish i could turn back the clock!

If your parents are not ready to hear about the critical staff of the WT don't go to that process to speak to them. They will not understand. It is like trying to describe the colours to born blind person.

My dad passed way, and he was sad because I became weak in spirituality. I never talked to him because I knew the devasting results. I wish things were different. I know that I won't talked to my mom. She wouldn't understand. It will only cause more pain. This is one of the worst cults ever existed, and it is shame that many lifes and relations have being destroyed by the WT

Yeah I share the same thoughts and feelings like you...I was born, and left when I was 33...I wish I could turn the clock and never got baptized at 17..

a trustworthy source has given me the opportunity to share some information about rolf furuli.

a well known apologist og and greatly respected elder in norway and a schoolar at the university of oslo.

he does not compleatly agree with the fds in all cases i guess, and lately he has spoken up in his local congo about 3 subjects.. # 1. education.

The GB actually is "Guided" not "inspired", God's mouthpiece on Earth, the Class of John(Hezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Moses)just to name a few..that NEVER got a prophecy correct(while all the above they did prophesy in the name of God and their prophecies fullfield), and still they wan't from us to accept as "truth" whatever comes from their mouth. The only "God's directed" but not "inspired" prophet ever existed....

Does it get's complicated...

Any how Furuli it is just supporting their chronology. Even though is wrong. This is what it counts. Ray Franz realize that the structure of the WT was on sand, and there was no way for him to support WT anymore

What really is a Soul Mate? --- Is it possible Yes or No?

n. one of two persons compatible with each other in disposition, point of view, or sensitivity.

there seems to be a variety of defintions on the net so what does "soul mate" mean?.

Nice subject...it is strange feeling regarding Soul Mate, but what I can say from my experience it exist. Besides we are not only flesh and bones, but we have also a spiritual part. The Human Soul. It never dies and the Soul carries our existence and personality to the eternity.

There is a special feeling when it comes to meet the Soul Mate.It is something you can't describe. It is a feeling beyond love. You share all the feelings that the other person haves. You can feel when the person feels pain, anger, happiness. You know if the person it is well. When you are thinking that person or the opposite, both know that there is a telepathetic communication. It is happening to me all the time. For istance at the same moment that I was sending an SMS I was receiving one...and is happenig all the time

It doesn't mean that Soul Mate has to do with the opposite sex and attraction. Besides when it comes to Soul Mates the physical part(attraction, sex)have no importance, since we are talking about spiritual bond

I'm sure there is a Soul Mate, I found mine...

Actually Olaf Jonson did reply to Forouli regarding the 607 B.C.E. I have read Olaf's reply and it was well documented.I don't understand why does Forouli supports a date that has no historical and even Biblical proof.
