What is the "Good News" Magazine being advertized???
by slmdf inhave you seen the ads for the "good news" magazine?
it looks suspiciously like the wt.
same type of photography and layout... anyone know if this is an offshoot of wt or a copycat or something?.

When my dad past way a part of me died. Although we didn't have a good relation, still it was my dad. Only in the last couple years of his life we came close to each other.
I wish I could speak to him when he was alive regarding W.T., and why I became inactive. I wish I could tell him my feelings regarding WT that is just a false prophet, and how they distroyed thousand of lifes. Unfortunately my dad gave all his life serving WT. CO, elder, Gilead, pioneer, missioner. How can you tell to a 76 year old man that his life was just a waste of time, serving a banch of old men in Brookly?
It is sad but after he died I have burried my WT part along with him...After that I was disfellowshiped

the reason for splitting up the watchtower editions in a public and a study version.
the reason is the same as for splitting up the watchtower society in ccjw, kingdom support, inc, religious order of jw (and local convention planning organisations, read the anderson-files about having no agents everywhere), just juridical!

Have You Divorced And/Or Remarried- What Did You Learn From It ?
by flipper inin seeing a lot of posters threads , i feel i see many people who have been divorced at one time , and either have remarried or have stayed single .
i totally understand those who choose to stay single, as i was single for 6 years before i got married again !
as experts say, next to death it's one of the hardest experiences you'll go through !

about time i formally introduced myself
by karter ini was a j.w for 38 years did'nt do a fade just "checked out and left" that was 7 years ago .. wife still a j.w so still have the elders ask why?.
i started to explain to one he went into lock down mode so why bother.. i'll defend the j.ws to the end for things i fell are right but wont stand idly by and say nothing when i know what they are saying is wrong.. that's got me into a lot of trouble.. karter.
