Preach the good news?????
by JW72 inhi everyone, i was just wondering about 'preaching the good news'.. in order to preach the good news to the whole world, u should really abandon all unnessecary 'wordly' things, and just concentrate on doing the preaching, which is a very very big task and requires your full effort.. so, i was wondering, does that mean, if u wanna fulfil that scripture to the best of your capabilities, that u must give up those things, and soley concentrate on preaching???.
coz, no-one really does that.. or is it o.k to do a bit of preaching???.
i have no idea, i personally wouldn't preach unless i thought i knew the 'secret formula', that was really worth listening to, and wasn't just common sense.. also, is it not important to think about whether there is a god or not?

Why, What, How?????...........
by JW72 incan anyone enlighten me as to how the gb got in the position they are today??.
i'm not looking for a history lesson, but rather, what auditions did people have to under-go to prove they were 'annointed with the holy spirit' or whatever they call it.. why didn't more people leave with ray franz, he knew what he was talking about, i don't know why he hasn't nuked the remainders in brooklyn!!!!.
ahhhhhhh, wait there, yes, i do know......... he's a nice person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Very very simple equation....
by JW72 inworld end 1975(and other dates)-not happen-false prophecy-steer clear of false prophets-steer clear of jws.. .
we shoulda had those kind of equations in math lessons, i would have definately understood (unlike most jws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Bad memories
by JW72 inhi everyone, i don't wanna dwell on bad memories, but i just wanna share one of my worst memories from school.. my brother was in the year above me, we had just finished lunch, everyone knew that we were jw's (not going to assemblies, nativity plays,birthday parties, seen in the field service....) we both walked onto the school field together to the whole school already on the field, stood in a line, clapping and shouting "jehovahs witness!!
" at us, it was absolutely dreadful.. kids can be cruel............ anyone else wanna divulge??.

FORCED TO BE GOOD??!!?!?
by JW72 ini was just thinking that the 'goodness' jw's display doesn't necessarily have to be 'pure' goodness, if u know what i mean.. i mean they become so obsessed and dependant on the wts telling them what they can, can't, should, shouldn't, will, and wont do that they no longer make 'pure' judgements for themselves.
even if what the wts is 'good, christian advice', as long as they're not deciding to do it themselves, it loses the righteousness that making decisions, good and bad, is all about.. it's like having really domineering parents who tell u exactly what to do, u do it through fear, not through the will to do good, u don't learn, u only learn to obey.. any comments?.

Wassup wi' Brooklyn??

what's the general concensus on whether the governing body really think they that they are 'prophets' or whatever they call themselves.. do we think that they really believe they are, or do we think that they know they are not but 'pretend' that they are??.
i've worded it badly, but, i think u know what i'm gettin' at!!.
