Is Tiger Woods career over ???
by RubaDub ini've been rather shocked to read lately how so many people in the world of golf are predicting tiger's days as a champion are done.. with 4 surgeries on his left knee and a problem with his achilles tendon, he tried to play at this week's tournament event (the players) and had to quit after 9 holes shooting a 43 (worst of all players).
and this was after a 1 month rest since he hasn't played since early april.. he even mentioned that he cannot walk properly now with so much pain and weakness in his left leg.
and the amazing amount of torque that he puts on his left side when swinging the club just makes it worse.. many are quietly speculating that tiger may be forced to retire.. rub a dub .

Miz...seems your argument is getting taken apart. You better play the Yoko Ono card.

Ahhh...the Wings are gone! Sorry 'bout that keyser. But not really That was an incredible series...Datsyuk was insane.
Leolaia, so your Sharks move on against the Canucks. Who you got everyone? Toss up...I'll take 'Nucks in seven since I picked them to win the Cup. -

When did this forum go apostate?
by B_Deserter ini was curious because i had heard simon was a jw when he started this forum.
i was looking through the old posts, but couldn't really pinpoint one that was a "turning point" so-to-speak.
simon must have left the j-dubs at some point.

Good question BDeserter. I've wondered the same and briefly reviewed old topics. Thanks White Dove for that recap...I find it very interesting that it was a gradual thing. Thanks to Simon for creating this forum...and to the members who swung it the other way by seeing the light.

Wow. That had to have been a thrill. Biggest laker I ever boated was more than ten pounds lighter than that. I took it out of a long, narrow lake called Chuchi in the BC back country. It was the best tasting lake trout I'd ever eaten. Almost indistinguishable from halibut.
Nickolas...that 27-pounder was good but not near some of the bigger ones pulled out of that fishing camp. I was there when a 45-pounder was caught. But I believe their record was in the 50s for that lake. Think the biggest Lake Trout ever caught on rod & reel was 70 lbs in the Great Bear Lake.
Low-Key...what a sweet collection of pics! I've lost so many of my old fishing pics....incl. my 27er dammit.

Lets assume that the Bible is accurate - odd about Adam having sex with his wife?
by sinis ini was reading the book of jashar and it talks about how adam "knew" his wife after they were kicked out from the garden.
does this mean that they did not have sex prior to this incident?
also in jashar, chapter two it says adam once again knew his wife in the 130th year.

There were two things that Adam was surprised to see that day in Eden, one was Eve and the other was his nards between his legs
There were 3 things that surprised Adam that day. The third being his superfluous bellybutton.

Need help!
by Snowboarder inhello wounderfull people, i would like to thank everyone for they help before, but i still need moral support, i have made my mind up and i want to thanks a member of the aussie team olympic team for responding to my email.
it really means a lot for me when i don't have any real friends when a olympic athlete responds to your email and cares.
she gave me good advice and told me it's possible even thought my situation is hard, that really gave me hope and it was that push that i need to start thinking seriously.

Hey Snowboarder....hang on here buddy. I just found the PM you left me, sorry missed it earlier. I forget to check them regularly.
I'm at work right now but I'll do my best to write you in a response PM today. I come from a big family and have a 17-yr-old sister who has been having similar ongoing problems at home. I understand your frustrations.
So just hang in there. Try to focus on the full scope of your life, and not see this current circumstance as the end all/be all. Consider it mental toughness training that will help you become that Olympian!
