The Faithful and Discreet WHAT?

my questions are:.

how do people know that they're part of the faithful and discreet slave class?how is seniority established?.

FIRST, THEY DON'T KNOW IT EXACTLY AS IF IT WAS GOD CALLING THEM, THEY BELIEVE IT AS A HEAVENLY CALLING MADE BY GOD BECAUSE THEY FULFILL WHAT WE FIND IN THE BIBLE SO TO SPEAK THEY THINK THEY FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS STATED BY GOD SO IS THEIR OWN VIEW ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY KNOW HOWEVER THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING CHOSEN BECAUSE YOU STAND ON TOP OF EVERYONE ELSE IS ONLY GOD WHO KNOWS WHO IS HIS SON AND WHO IS A LIAR, MANY OF THEM ARE LIARS I KNOW A FEW WHO SAY THEY ARE ANOINTED BUT WELL SEE AT THE END. WELL, IT HAS TO BE SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO GOD DOING WHAT JESUS TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO DO AND LIVE IN ACCORDANCE TO JESUS'S LIFE SO THE OLDER YOU ARE THE BETTER ACQUAINTED WITH THEOLOGY THAN MORE AROUND YOU SO IN OTHER WORDS YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY STRONGER THAN THE REST SOMEHOW. YOU START WITH ZERO AND THEN YOU CAN MOVE ON TO THE TOP AS IN A BUSINESS COMPANY YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR COLLEAGUES TALK GOOD ABOUT YOU AND YOU HAVE TO BE EFFICIENT IN SOME RESPECTS TO ACCOMODATE YOURSELF IN A GOOD POSITION. THERE IS SOME MORE TO IT. IT IS SELF-APPOINTMET NOBODY CAN JUDGE OR CRITICIZE YOU, IS YOUR DECISION TO PROCLAIM YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE. IT SHOULDN'T BE LIKE THAT IN OURSELVES, UNFORTUNATELY HUMANS SEE ONLY THE OUTER APPEAREANCE IF YOU STAND ABOVE PEOPLE IN WHATEVER THAT IS THEY WILL SEE YOU DIFFERENTLY SO IS BEING OF THE ANOINTED CLASS THEY SEE YOU AS AN ANGEL BUT MANY THEY DON'T CARE EITHER. YES YOU HAVE TO BE REGISTER HERE ON EARTH AND ALSO TAKE PART OF THE EMBLEMS EVERY YEAR. THEY CAN DO SO BUT NOT DIRECTLY AS IF IT WAS GOD. STILL WILL BE AGAINST THE HEALTHY TEACHING OF THE BIBLE SO IS A NO ALTHOUGH SOME OF THEM THINK OTHERWISE. GETTING ON BOARD TO THIS SHIP WILL TAKE YOU EVERYWHERE JUST REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO BE IN IT NO MATTER WHAT. JUMPING THROUGH THE RANKS. ENAYONE CAN BECOME ONE YOU HAVE TO BE TIE TO MEMBERS OF THE EXISTING GB. BY OUR OWN DECISIONS AND OUR FEARING GOD CONSCIENCE TRAINED BY THE BIBLE AND OUR FAITH IN GOD. SIMPLE AS YOU ARE OUT IF YOU WANT YOU ARE IN IF YOU STAY IN. CHANGES THAT FIT INTO OUR THEOCRACY.

i received this e-m from a well-meaning jw friend who hasn't cut me off and seems to still have hope i will return.

any ideas on what i should say?

you can do so of course try contacting him and try having a conversation one on one or something similar there a lot to talk about and tell them things you like about him like being there for you when you needed him and things like that. Also there is no point in an argument about religious beliefs until you guys have a stronger relationship then you would like to try to understand his feelings and he in turn yours. Once you feel he is not someone who will hurry and tell others about your situation start getting acquainted with his circumstances and see if you would help him.You can do more is up to how much you like him.

Regarding the message is an example of how the congregation is compared to this system of things the mother being the congregation well is just deceptive to some of us and the alligator being the God of this system can be visualize as an attempt to scare little kids cause we know what we will face if we turn our back on Jesus. For some brothers including me it touches deep in our hearts but once you know it has a completely different objective I don't think is right to treat the flock with scary arguments getting them to think there is only one choice and that been inside the congregation with their own views of things is just not right.

Try talking to him in person.

Armageddon -- Are we there yet?

well armageddon has its on definition I constantly listen to talks about it and is just to some extent not real what they all say, they will tell you what will happen who will be killed who will be saved and who they think they are God no one how it will be like.

In one hand we have the battle of God almighty against political powers on earth we humans don't participate in it that is an invisible battle where the ruler of this world challenges God, and Michael the arcangel along with myriads of angels directs the battle and in his white horse he will become victorious and death,hunger, and sickness and all sin related to all of this will be things of the past. Short explanation look up for more.

The other explanation is that all people who are not JW's will die them along with their children even if they were just born when armageddon arrives they will be scattered throughout the fields that will be a bloodshed by God that sort of explanation needs more argument but continuing all who are sinners not belonging to JW's will die unless they repent and change to the religion. need more explanation

So we have different viewpoints to consider and I think there can more than one to discuss however the end is not yet here because the great tribulation hasn't ocurred yet and once is done there will be a time lapse between the GT and A so we still don't know how long will it take. Keep on watch so as to not fall asleep when that time arrives cause it will arrive like a thief at night and who can stand against such a battle.

Wait on Jehovah for the answers not on humans.

Highdose's pendulam problem...

an update on me: i seem to be swinging from one state to another recently.

some days i will feel very peacefull within myself about the borg and my experiances in it.

i will feel like i'm almost able to forgive all those cult members who made my life hell.. ... and then the pendulam swings and i find myself remembering something about them that makes me just so furious!

we all come to see the real facts at the end of the day, they make us feel like we are somebody they can play with and I also paid attention to them and it was driving me crazy everyday in my life but after so many deep thoughts I've realized they are just a bunch of hypocrites who don't care about me cause they don't know me inside they just think they the best spiritual directed guides on earth and they feel superior to us and they diminish our beings.

Knowing that there is no such thing as them being right about things happening to us many I now only focus in my life I don't pay attention to any of them as to really feel the struggles I went through during that time it was a relief that my eyes were open and now I can see things clear so don't let them have any thing have to do with you, life is beautiful and short know that God is out there he knows we are not responsible for any of this try to step up.

The only relationship we have to strive for is God's and jesus being our only hope for survival would lead us into the place we are committed to be not one any human talks about.

Isn't going to Law School a no-no?

i was reading some education-related threads on here and i'm curious about something.

i haven't been out too long, and while i was in, i was farsighted enough to get my college degree part-time at night.

i kind of knew i'd be out someday and would need it... anyway, since i've been out, i've been going to law school.

yes is a no-no to go to law school and if you go you are look down while you are still attending and you have to face comments regarding how spiritual you are and how close the system is in your life so if your friend is going to law school she either doesn't believe the principle of not going to school or she is in great need and had plans with that career in mind whatever the case is she is not a total JW.

There is a lot of people who go to the hall and don't do everything said by the FDS and that is fine I also believe nobody can force you do anything against your own will and there is people who go there and do many things to be considered an spiritual brother but they are far away from the truth they have two faces they are well-behaved at the hall but out of it they do what it pleases them most.

and there are some who are born inside the cong and come to know everything being said in the hall and we just believe everything comes from God and since God is telling us not to go to school we don't go and we never come to do many things in life and our life gets turned into a direction that we can't help us and nobody else financially so you trust the FDS and at the end you end up with nothing to offer but not all of us remain like that.

One example in my cong there are at least 10 brothers who went to school or work at school somehow well they always talk about how bad school is for young witnesses and they work there at an institution, that is ridiculous, also they have their needs well covered up and yes they don't help anybody in the cong so that is not right.

I don't believe nothing cause nobody ever asked me if I needed anything they just want me to show at the meetings go out on service and be a good example to younger ones and I now know that they are just all a bunch of hypocrites they have revealed secrets to me that are not good.

Well, simple if she is going she knows how you can handle this life and you as well so remember there is a double standard about education you can go and you can't go take your pick.

I've never understood why people would choose to have kids

especially if you can't give your children a perfect world.. i mean, who do people think they are?

Well, first you don't have to understand it in a way that makes you go beyond what is going on with them.

As a witness you are admonished not to have children cause the end is near, that scripture I think is also taken out of context so let's just keep our conversation not leading towards that scripture.

Kids are a reason many of us believe God is merciful with humans and having that power to pass life into our offsprings is just wonderful nothing in this world can compensate having children. what I do not like seeing is old brothers being lonely cause they never had kids nobody takes care of them furthermore having kids make us see ourselves in them and that is just unexplicable then there is where I see this reality is real and not just a time lapse experience.

Even if we bring them to a world that is not perfect they will make it a better place and they will be a humans of extraordinary intelligence and who knows they can do something none of us ever thought about.

For me not having kids could be a question to post not the opposite lets all have children and fill this world.

This is very interesting to me because is all truth and despite the fact that many believe otherwise is intriguing to think about being in the only true religion while the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. In addition That is what makes all religions be under this ruler so to be in the only true religion would only be accomplished when God himself brings his heavenly rulership to earth.

I've been a JW's all my life and this view is only a personal view taken from publications out of context brought to some brother's mind and that in turn is transmitted into the whole congregation citing scriptures taken to identify the true religion but not as a whole group of people because that wouldn't stand up by itself is in our hearts if we follow jesus counsel in life we would no doubt be part of his congregation. There're also 2 sides of the coin depending who is flipping it he'll see it by a different angle this is due to the fact that is human reasoning brought to us we have to identify it as an upbuilding admonishment in our lives however not all of it is like that cause is just not right.

They some take great pride on this among themselves and is carry out to field service that mentality is not a humble one and it's been going on for decades. Well I sum things up as personal opinions the holy spirit of God which Jesus talk about before his ascension to heaven will help us in our hearts to know when something comes from God himself and would teach us what we need to do here on earth and no human can do that only jesus can lead us into his road no one else.

Older man marries younger woman, yes; younger man marries older woman?

i understand that marriages between an older man and a much younger woman are a fact of jw life.

the reasons i have seen include the lack of an available prospect, of the fact that the older man has some power in the congregation and therefore marrying him is something like an advantage.

i wonder what the advantage can be, and i would appreciate any light on this (new or old).. but, how often does a younger man marry an older woman?

In either case both parties decide what better fits their lives and when a man marries a younger woman is just for me not right but also I think is allright for the man is they both strive for the marriage to last.

I know a brother from my cong who is 45 and she is 22 that is awkard not real love for what I see. He was not the only one available but he had material needs and so forth so it was an arrangement somehow.

As a man I can tell you that it won't look bad on you but she will get bored once you start wrinkling and she will look somewhere else that's a possibility also she will marry again if you die so what's the deal think about it.

there is this brother who is 40 and she was 15 when they married he died and she is still alone for more than 20 years that's reality.

it works either way for both parties men and women we just have to choose our life and there are plenty of options whether you want to experience what they feel or just simply thinking in it take your pick is how life works do what you can now.

what was the worst advice given to you while you were a JW ?

mine's was, if your job interfere with the meetings you have to decide who you will choose,.

serving jehovah or serving man, if anyone knew my needs it most definitely was jehovah.

and he knew i needed my job to eat.

The worst, in reality there are many as mentioned before in this forum. So what the brothers at the have said to me is

while you are young dedicate yourself completely to field service.

Now that you are at school quit it and never think about going back.

marry a sister even though you don't like her things will change once you get marry.

Don't drive without a driver's license.

Well, I forgot to say that they were pressuring me so i could do their wishes then I analyzed their lives and those brothers are far off from reality they don't really care about me they just did it to comfort with the system, and I did the same thing later I told them what they wanted to hear and it has been ever since.

Is anightmare to actually have to listen to all of what they say cause they are sheperding the flock with god's direction but in my case they are opened up so I can now see who they really are and I don't pay attention like I used to.
