  i was being facetious---an attempt at humour

  however, --i avoided this site like the plague this time last year---i took one look at the title & leapt to the wrong conclusion----it was only after i "met" Cantleave on another site that i found the true purpose of this place.

  how many of us would visit a site called "Watchtower net"

  Counting Time

  i tried to do a minimum 30 hours a month field service.

  however, if we had only been allowed to count the time of "the actual conversations" we had with householders at the door i wonder what the real figure would be?.

  i think mine would easily have been less than 1 hour per month.

  you can easily spot JW's out in field service-----usually in pairs--who else would walk so slowly from one door to the next--& then stand on the doorstep nattering to each other--oblivious to the fact there's no one home.

  its just a waste of time--evidence the JW has too much free time available--& really doesnt want to do it anyway.

  try earning a living selling door to door----the above behaviour wont get you far.

  i must say, i have had so much fun on this site - some real laugh out loud moments for my friends and i to enjoy.. no need to respond - i am busy pioneering from tomorrow, so will no longer have time on my hands to sit at my pc enjoying laughing at your pathetic comments.

  Dinner With a Pioneer Couple Last Night

  my wife and i had dinner with a pioneer couple last night that we've been friends with for a long time.

  they are both nice people, with the wife having a few dashes of pretentiousness mixed in.. usually when we are together, they always talk about pioneering, which makes some sense as it's the primary focus of thier lives.

  however, it has gotten progressively more dominate in conversation over the last couple of years, to the point of being annoying.

  when i did my punishment--3 years in the 1960's--it was 100!!! hours a month for us regular pioneers.

  about as much use as shaving.
