im not exactly sure when this change came in, but when i was a kid i remember it either being.
"____ has been disfellowshipped or dissasociated".
if someone has been announced to the congregation as no longer a jw then they are the same as any other non-jw.
i can remember--back in the early 60'S--when someone was disfellowshipped--it was announced what the reason was--usually adultery. this was long before smoking was a DF offence. in fact--i only ever heard the reason being adultery. but this was in the UK--perhaps it was the most popular exit strategy back then.
would it be possible??

its exactly what happened to me--30+years ago. one has to seriously doubt the mentality of anyone who can put their belief in a myth ahead of their family values.
so we all know that the blotchtower and awake are becoming 16 page mags.
yes, they are becoming the "weetower" and the "halfasleep".. they are moving some articles over to jw.org and i have a few reasons why i think they are doing this:.
'new light'.

if you dont have any kids of your own yet--think long and hard before starting a family if youre still dithering with the religion. i broke free completely 30 odd years ago--and lost mine to the WTS. as you can imagine--my stance is very hard line anti WTS. i have been known to state my views about elders ms's pioneers etc staying in the service of this cult. but now is not the time to kick off again.

i was reading a novel by a british author, robert goddard.
i have read several of his books but in this one, "past caring" he spells the word "connexion" instead of "connection".
i had never seen that spelling before.
i hate text-speak----the modern language of youth--i suppose. alas--here in the UK we have just about the worst local slanguage variation imaginable. i mean--of course---sarf lahndn innit.
so the co is in town...sorry i can't disclose much info....i haven't done anything wrong that warrants no longer serving as an ms....but the co is thinking of deleting me as an ms (my parents are aware)....i really hope he does as this will make my fade much more easier...... freedom is just around the corner i hope.... peace.

my anionted mum always said she's "willing to die for the truth like the brothers in the concentration camps".....how many witnesses would do this, like the "heavens gate" suicide group or the tokyo cult that tried to start armagedon with subway gas attacks or even the 9/11 terrorists?.
the brothers in the camps in world war 2 were told by rutherford this is armagedon.
so they thought a quick death and then "poof"...i'm in paradise.. .
many would eat a fresh dog turd if it were "suggested" by the WTS.
how many of you since leaving the wt now beleive in a soul that will survive your physical body?
