by Crisis of Conscience inanother wonderful part this week at the meeting.
and this is what the brother said.. he related examples, based on the om book, as to how jehovah kept records.
funny part is, they all applied to population, the amount of people.. is there any part of the bible that talks about how jehovah kept a log of hours on some occasion?

The CONSCIOUS CLASS what does it mean to you, and do you consider yourself one of them?
by cattails inthere's a few posts where the term "conscious class" has been in just recently.. i'm wondering if it means the same to most jws and exjws who post here.. what does the "conscious class" mean to you?.
ok, no funny business about 'being conscious' as in awake and fully cafeinated.. if you could answer the two questions it may help some here to understand what.
this term is a lot better.

i read the expression "conscious class" on another thread, hadn't a clue what it meant, but rather than post in & ask ( & risk being pilloried AGAIN)
so i did a search & found this thread
the mind boggles
so, within the JW'dom there is a large "conscious" class ??
also an "unconscious" class??
what next---a BRAIN DEAD class?

Pissing On JWs That Are Geuninely Searching Here
by minimus ini just want to say something about witnesses who come here just to try to rebel rouse as opposed to jws that come here and are "searching" or are "active" members in the organization but are reading info on this site.. there's no reason to "beat down" witnesses just because they still go to meetings and we don't.
i've seen some insulting words against present elders and it's unnecessary and judgmental, in my honest opinion.
some jws like to spar with us on this board and it's a losing effort for them in reality.. who knows when or what will make someone actually leave the tentacles of the organization.

What do you think will be WT doctrine in 10 or 20 years time?
by roguepixel inthe world/science/technology and society (not the society) are changing so rapidly.
what does everybody think will be wt$ doctrine and belief in 10 or 20 years time?
i'm thinking mainly about advances in medicine and cloning, which were always looked upon as being a cut-off point.

ive been totally out for 30 years, & all i understand about the WT doctrines is from this site & exjwreunited, in the UK
guess what, as far as i can tell ---doctrine:unchanged
expectations: shifted--armageddon =sometime in the indefinite future
numbers: wow how many now? 6 million? 7 million?
with numbers like that it must count for something ?
no --it just shows a successful sales organisation, staffed by volunteers.

i'm recently new to this board & have stated elsewhere i am 30 years "out" & very happy about that.
i have no "beef" with any devout jw's visiting-- they are most welcome i'm sure
also i have no intention of attacking a persons belief--live & let live etc.
but if a jw visiting this site wants to find out what its like out in the real world---
i'm more than happy to share my experience, if asked.
