i wonder which will come first--if either?
the faithful slave has put out a list of things they think jw's should have on hand, due to the closeness of armaggedon.
if jw's dont have such a list they can ask their local elders for a copy of such.... .
does anyone know about such a list ???.
i can remember as an 11 year old child hearing all about the big a being imminent--so pleaded with mom & dad to lift the floorboards so we could store foodstuffs under the house.

i liked the greatest man book.
i thought it was very informative and unbiased.
a good summary of the gospels.. .
when i was a regular pioneer in the late 1960's----i liked all the publications---because when i "placed" something i made a healthy profit.
for example --pioneers paid one british old penny for each magazine--and sold them for four pence each.
it was encouraged to develope a magazine "route"--regular delivery to householders---nice---a couple of hundred sold per month soon mounted up
and when those black-bound flexible covered bibles came out---about 7/6 pence i think---sold like hot cakes.
all this sales training gave me a really healthy greedy grabbing chiselling outlook on life-----so my JW youth wasnt entirely wasted.
i had heard about the mormons, but i had not been the least interested in them.
in that 5 month time period from when i prayed to god up until the day i got saved, no mormons or jehovah's witnesses came knocking on my door and they would always come to my house on saturdays.

the governing body made up of 7 senior men in brooklyn new york are the divinely appointed spokesmen for god on earth today.. if you dont obey the governing bodys instructions and doctrines, you will die a violent death at armageddon.. that jesus is the mediator between god and man for only 11,000 people on earth today and some 133,000 others already in heaven.
the rest of mankind has to follow those 11,000 represented by the governing body to receive the benefits of the ransom.. christ invisibly returned to rule the earth in 1914 and satan was thrown to the earth at the same time.
actually god is going to bring an end to all the starvation, disease & suffering that afflicts a huge percentage of 3rd world people.

UTI's are extremely serious.
when my 2nd wife-to-be got a UTI it quickly developed into salpingitis--and damaged her ovaries.
she was rolling on the floor in agony.
this was in 1983---she was in her early 30's--and had never had children----she certainly didnt after that--in spite of serious corrective surgery to her fallopian tubes, ovaries etc.
