wouldn't a loud voice from heaven asking for a show of hands pretty much do away with the need for the preaching/evangelizing work?.
why is this a stupid question?.
no, seriously!.
I SOOOO agree with the author of this thread.
If Jehovah is all power, all merciful, all forgiving, then a vote would be good.
Also a revised version of the bible wouldnt hurt either since people have evolved over the past 2,000 plus years.
Wow, what a debate.
The J-dub really held his or her ground. But he or she really contridicted theirselves by saying that the mosaic law doesnt count anymore.
Whats this thing with the mosaic law and homosexuality?

OMG I think this is the most funny thread I've read on this website!!!!
I'm peeing in my pants!!!!
Why wont Jehovah do a vote???

9. let's overlap our generations if you know what i mean.. 8. what do you say we lose this great crowd?.
7. i want to be your faithful slave.. 6. tonight we're gonna party like it's 1974.. 7. your breasts are like towers.. 6. would you welcome a shepherding call?.
LMAO! Very funny!
prince: you wear a burqa.
theres no choice.
people are happy with that.entertainment.
What a control freak!
I really loved Prince back in the day. Its too bad he jumped on the watchtower bandwagon.
i was doing some research on an tangentally related topic when i came across this gem, from the 7/1/1986 watchtower, in a paragraph discussing the cost of integrity:.
certainly when a person becomes a christian witness of jehovah, he suddenly finds out who are his true friends.
some will perhaps shun or boycott him because he has abandoned his former religion, even though they themselves do not practice any religion properly.
A bunch of crazy men were ruling the watchtower back then. And still are today.

Hypocrital is the history of the watchtower.
after being here on jwn for a while, one does see a spectrum of sorts.
there are people here in various stages of their exit from their lives as jws.
some are full fledged kh and fs attendees whom we call "the conscious class".
I AINT GOING BACK TO 'JEHOVAH-TOWN!'
Another thing I was gonna say: A lot of people at the hall DONT REALIZE, that their friendships, relationships with spouse and parents ARE BASED on an organization. This is the thing that kills me the most. They didnt become friends or mates 'by chance' they meant at the kingdom hall, and thats what their relationships are based on: Organizational poilcies.
Its fake, forced, and a fraud!

^ I agree with the above poster and I am NEVER going back either. The 'love' that the 'friends' show is very very conditional, and their loyality is to an organization, not to their 'so called friends.'
