What song goes through you mind when you think of the BIG A??( LOL)
by Joliette ini dont know if this thread is going to offend anyone...but whenever i was a kid, and i thought about 'jehovah distroying everything' i always used to think about that song 'rock the cabash' by the clash, (and later willeinum by will smith).
or rem-its the end of the world as we know it?
i dont know why those two songs go through my head whenever i think of the end of those world when i hear those songs lol..

Omg Misery you are cracking me up.
The 'BIG A' soundtrack thing you said is hilarious.
This is really sad, but when I was a little kid, that sad music from 'The hulk' used to go through my head, that sad piano music.
With everyone dead around me. What a terrible thought. I gotta find some humor in it, or else I'll be depressed.

A possible 'break' from the rank and file witnesses and WTBTS?? In the near future?
by Joliette indoes anyone see this happening: the jw's breaking off from the wtbts, when they realize that a lot of the teachings arent true?.

Do you consider yourself to be quiet or outgoing?
by mrsjones5 insomething someone said on one of the popularity topics got me to wondering who on the board is quiet and who are the outgoing ones in real life.
i'm a quiet person in real life, takes me a while to warm up to folks that i just meet, but if i really like a person my rarely used gift of gab comes out.. how about ya'll?.

I used to be quiet growing up, but I talk a lot more now. But its good to be quiet and an oberserver, especially as a dub. You'll hear things that you never thought you think you heard...lol (tongue twister).

Hi!! New Here and need to express some feelings

i'm married and my husband was also raised as a jw, been married for almost 7 years and have two kids who have just started kindergarten and preschool.

Could They Dump The Assemblies?
by metatron inmy theory continues to be that the governing body will be forced to break down the organization piece by piece.. so, i wonder: could they dump the assemblies?.
it is clear - that they are having some problems in this area.
they are selling off assembly halls in some countries, they have moved some district assemblies to assembly halls (to save money on rent) and the pleas for donations from the platform have not let up.. while zombie witlesses may drag themselves to meetings and out in service (with whatever literature/magazines the watchtower manages to afford) indefinitely, i watch this area with interest.

When I was a kid, I thought that the FDS had these convention because they really cared about the r&fwitnesses. Maaaan, was I wrong.
