If it helps to you to understand my musing above, I meant to say that positive education or sharing truthful experiences in an effective way is like poisoning the well of Watchtower. No offense meant to anyone but WT.

For it to be righteous, it has to be truthful, no matter how scandalous. Before this however, you should have exhausted all diplomatic efforts.
WT is steadily loosing loyal membership, but it has the magic formula in gaining new members who may probably become new victims later on.
For WT: Positive Education about WT and victims = diminishing membership = lesser money = lesser resources = lesser power/authority/control (a.k.a., abuse, misuse, manipulation, twisting, etc.)
Improve beaconing and sheltering. Share your truthful and sincere experiences & advice with open peers, friends, family and neighbors.
Use SMART tools, network, coalesce, be cohesive & conserve efforts, maintain support groups etc. Utilize effectively YouTube (avoid nasty), MySpace, Facebook, etc.

Okay, let's talk something we could agree on.
We are against the system. We cannot easily defeat WT. But it is possible, because it has been responding to your movements. It jerked to your pinch in the past years.
There is a phrase I may reveal later which WT would fear to face.
It has been trying to counteract your movements with fresh teachings. False prophecies have been changed and there is no more fixed end date, just saying Armageddon is around the corner.
They are trying to keep their members busy in God's work and persuading (more like pressuring) them to vounteer their huge amounts of time, money and resources to kingdom preaching work.
Most families who could afford college are definitely pressured to have their young adults to preach and take the least the world and life has to offer.
In this protracted spiritual warfare, many young JW families and youths are adversely affected.
Simple cause and effect analysis by categorization of WT systemic issue:
Intermediate effect
- scriptural authority and deeper interpretation has been unreasonable & unreal; it lacks real sense.
- ineptness to handle the situation due to alpha elders/pioneers effect ... elder victims are too meek to have the right convictions.
- allowing meddlers who abuse and/or misuse their authority and privilege, and not calling them into account for ethics violations.
- mind control techniques systematically used hiding behind scriptural principles.
- allowing bad gossiping even during field service or meeting.
- whistle-blowers and complainers are hushed and/or treated badly.End effect ... casualty:
- victims deserving justice under civil statutes and matters of life & death vs. scriptural interpretation
- divided and/or broken family/marriage
- mentally ill or disturbed members
- members inadvertently induced to immorality, crime, rebellion and self-destruction to escape the over righteous/immaculate environment
- economically, intelectually, materially, culturally, emotionally deprived membersTherefore, summarizing what I learnt so far, here's the strategy:
1. Identify the problems, categorize and determine any pattern. Is WT really the root cause? Was WT a major factor? (of course, assuming you're not so stupid :)
2. Share experience effectively and be resource or witness. Truth is powerful. Educate so others may learn and understand the victims and avoid being victimized.
3. Improve, do better, be better. Network effectively, use social networking like MySpace and/or Facebook to share your experiences and warnings about WT. JW zealots are using these.One member suggested that we unite to form association(s) to shelter, to help each other and victims of WT.
We should also beacon those who are still attached to WT, but keep their choices open for various reasons.
You are probably already doing the things mentioned above. However be aware of new things also mentioned.
We need cohesion (not necessarily teamwork), and conservation of efforts. This means using improved tools, technology and strategy.
What are your ideas/thoughts/suggestions for this topic???

when reformers grow tired of shaking away their tree of snakes, scum and rotten fruit, they'll be surprised to see that beaconed and sheltered jws & ex-jw numbers have grown more than the number of wt loyal members; just because they kept ignoring their members' real welfare.

Pedophilia and blood transfusion are the current heavy hitting issues because they involve civil statutes and life or death.
Let me point-out that this is such a big problem with WBTS because of its authoritarian and repressive policies.
I'm sure there are other issues WBTS ignorantly contributed to its victims. For example:
- Disfellowshipping intense enough to cause an offender to commit suicide. Preaching shunning that destroys families, and make it impossible for the offender to return
- Abuse and/or misuse of authority. Assuming to be marriage counsellors. Flip-flopping of policies. Promoting harmful meddling and gossiping during field service. Promoting idealistic comparisons - causing family conflicts because they feel the pressure to conform to be like the model elder family.
- Mind control: consciences being modeled to the mentally closed member who exerts the most influence. Everyone must conform, otherwise, you are suspected that something is wrong with you.Therefore we should improve in highlighting these symptoms through effective sharing of knowledge and experience as I mentioned earlier.

Definitely, reformation is not the way for this website. So, I amicably agree.
Leaving, staying, neutral, or "wait-and-see" will be our indisputable choice and responsibility.
However, I encourage you to share your real & truthful experience and knowledge with your open peers, friends, neighbors and family.
We will do this neither to persecute nor to stigmatize JWs. We do this to inform your open peers, friends, neighbors and family of what may happen to you in the future if they chose to consider and study from WT.
JWN may need to add a feature that would enable those willing to publish their experiences and personal tragedy. Who knows, there might be a pattern. So when your friends get a visit from me, then they could say "no thank you! I've heard enough!". I'll understand and won't bother following-up with a return visit.

Precisely its even a waste of time continuously criticizing WTS and sharing the sad stories & experiences without being heard by others & future victims.
I'm sure misery loves company, but there is prevention to this misery.
For example,
JWN could redesign the website or maybe another website could accomodate as repository or serving as warning bouy/beacon for all - JW, ex-JW and others. All your stories & experiences will be properly appreciated here - as lessons learned.

This is impossible if I were left holding the bag alone. However, there have been many movements that have caused the Watchtower to silently change its policy and direction, some for good and unfortunately some for bad.
Networking has worked before and it will work again if the proper tactics and strategy are applied.
Tragedies, broken homes, mental issues, dashed hopes among many others will perpetuate as long as a authoritarian / repressive WTS policies & doctrine continue.
WTS has done much to cover-up and adapt, unfortunately springing up more leaks.As far as I see now we need to organize and/or unite our efforts. It has to be a directed push even if it comes from an individual.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let's agree to disagree on many things, but lets have a common goal.
The common goal is to bring the high and mighty Watchtower system to humility and justice.With God's permission, the Watchtower (controlling watchtower.org) will either reform or dissolve. In either case the evil system that ignorantly victimize many will be gone.

Any ideas (tactic/strategy) to help reform and/or dissolve Watchtower peacefully? We are neither advocating violence nor persecutions. We're gathering righteous ideas before putting them into action. We'll see how nimble Watchtower reacts to challenge.
