The JW who understands the current doctrine and studies well enough to identify new light is either bat shit crazy or has already left the organization years ago. All the rest don't understand what they believe right now, and don't study well (or at all) and won't even notice that this is new light and can't compare it with their previous understanding because they never understood it anyway.

Forthcoming Kingdom Ministry School schedule and references
by cedars ini'm taking a break from jwn at the moment, but i thought i'd briefly jump back on to post some information that has been sent to me.. many of you will be aware that the governing body has somewhat hastily arranged another "kingdom ministry" school for the elders, and there has already been a degree of speculation on the forum as to what matters will be addressed at this meeting.. a friend has very kindly sent me the text of a letter to bodies of elders in britain which includes the meeting schedule as well as the reference material that elders are asked to bring along and "meditate" on beforehand.. here is the letter:.

the k hall announcement encouraged attendance at the upcoming assembly day.
the elder then said that since the congregation no longer has to make a blanket donation to the assembly hall it is expected that the publishers remember their responsibility to maintain the costs.

These 'suggestions' are also made here in the netherlands, where they read out the cost (incredibly high for just heating and light) and then simply divide it by the number of attendees and sum up how much every person should pay.

Jesus partied with the worst of sinners, it was his favorite passtime. Extortionists, prostitutes, those were the people Jesus liked to hang out with. He never shunned anyone.
No we have self-appointed apostle Paul to thank for that doctrine. Thanks Paul, for drowning humanity in 2000 years of misery.

I find it hard to believe that something could stay secret for so long. Secrets don't keep. Big secrets don't keep at all. And what motive would governments have to keep it a secret? And what motives would the aliens have to work together with the government and keep hidden?
For a sufficiently advanced civilization to be capable of interstellar travel, we would be like ants. We would be an interesting biological study object, but nothing more. They would not be physically present, but they would send infinitely small, invisible probes that could monitor us from beyond the oort cloud and from that distance could see probably down to the resolution of atoms. Currently we can't even see giant rocks in the oort cloud, let alone highly advanced, stealthy tiny interstellar probes that don't want to be seen.
They would not send aircraft, enter our atmosphere, buzz around, have accidents, and fly around with their headlights on, or strike up agreements with the government, or exchange technology. Also, if you look at technological development, there is absolutely zero evidence of any external source or sudden spike in development speed. Every invention is done through slow, tedious, painstaking hard work and overly documented by scientists and researchers and is publicly available. Many times subjects being worked on simultaneously in different countries by different groups. Slipping some alien tech under the table would be noticed. You can't just suddenly set up a company and start selling stuff that is a million times better than anything else out there without any trace of how that technology was developed and stay under the radar.
During the second world war, british pilots saw many unexplained phenomena, or gremlins. There were many pilots flying many sorties. They were up long, they were tired, high altitude, cold, bad sleep, high pressure, scared to die and didn't know about the atmospheric optic effects they might encounter. Nowadays, there are millions of people flying around our earth everyday, in the relatively comfortable boredom of the double-wide cabin-pressurized jetliners. Many many more eyes are looking around the skies. Yet we don't see more UFO's being reported, instead we see less reports of them.

don't tell anyone he's prone to abusing children though, that should be kept hush-hush.
also, don't remove the child or the offender from the dangerous situation, just let them stay together, and above all let's not involve the proper authorities or call the police or anything like that!.

Surely after a stern talking to, the offender will no longer have any dangerous urges and can be trusted to be around children again. And don't even think about putting him under supervision, he's already being supervised by the holy spirit, and that should be plenty.
