  How to handle child abuse - watchtower style

  step 1: if anyone finds out, give the abuser a minor punishment, like removing his ministerial servant privileges.

  don't tell anyone he's prone to abusing children though, that should be kept hush-hush.

  also, don't remove the child or the offender from the dangerous situation, just let them stay together, and above all let's not involve the proper authorities or call the police or anything like that!.

  The Movie 'Doubt'

  saw this movie last week with meryl streep and amy adams and thought it was great.

  it's about a catholic school where the priest is suspected to have an unhealthy relationship with one of the boys.. btw, spoiler alert for the text below ;-).

  apart from that whole storyline, which is of course of interest for ex-jws, there is another very moving moment at the end of the movie when the headsister (meryl streep) confesses to the other sister (amy adams).

  Funny Coincidences

  so three days ago i had a dream about a female classmate, who i haven't seen for about 10 years and haven't thought about either.

  i can't even remember her surname and i was never really interested in her either.

  it was very weird, i dreamt that she was wearing a bathing suit and she asked me how it looked on her.

  when it comes to cults, jehovah's witnesses have a very strong hierarchical leadership system.

  in many ways it enforces their control on the individual.

  one of the tricks is that the lower levels of followers never get direct contact beyond the circuit overseer level.

  i was just wondering but could not remember any clear account in the bible that the jubilee years (50) or sabbath years (7) were really practiced by the israelites.

  is this true?

  i can't remember any account of lands being returned and slaves being freed etc.

  hello fellow apostates.

  here's a fantastic idea to generate some demonic anti-buzz for all those 30hr auxpioneers coming april.. on april first, we rent a big tanker truck and fill it up with cow blood.

  we drive to brooklyn bethel, connect a big freaking pump and spray blood all over the entrance.
