hi everyone, first i just want to say if it wasn't this forum, i'd be baptized!

i haven't managed to successfully end my studies with a zealous jw.

she uses everything against me to brainwash me into believing i need the org.

Awesome Rox! You're doing great. Jesus talked about his yoke being light.. the JW yoke is as heavy as a millstone.

And think about it.. do you really want to be in a religion where you are being constantly manipulated into feeling guilty for not attending, guilty for not living up to other's expectations, guilty for not obeying your 'friends' wishes, fearful of death, fearful of armageddon, fearful of the devil, fearful of apostates, fearful of the entire world and fearful of all people? Did Jesus motivate his followers with guilt and fear? Did he go to a blind man and tell him "You'd better come follow me or the devil will get you!"

Now for some pharisee references. The JWs are so pharisaic that they even proscribe what kind of fabric is appriopriate for skirts. Can you imagine Jesus telling the woman by the water well that she was wearing the wrong kind of fabric and therefore had no right to the water of life?

One of the identifying signs of a destructive cult is that they control your life right up to minute details such as what clothes, colors, hairstyles the person wears. Do you want to give up your right to dress as you please, because some old geezers in Brooklyn think that denim is a satanic fabric?

instead of letting satan and apostates infiltrated the true church,so that its true teaching and the true church perished or was rejected by both jehovah and christ because of apostacy!if the true church survived and is with us today, where do the jehovah s witness organisation stand?.

If the divine name was so important, how come Jesus taught the apostles to address God as father, and not as Jehovah? Why did Jesus never stress that Jehovah was an important name? Evidently, Jesus did not think it was important enough to spend time discussing it.

Having a critical attitude is poison? Only if you are critical of the WTS of course.. being critical of any other religion is encouraged.

Let's rewrite one of the sentences.

it will involve 2 special meetings on oct 22 and oct 29. the meetings will be a. watchtower summary.. a member of the us branch committee will give a report on "progress in the field.".

talk by a visiting zone overseer.

and a talk by the gb.. it will be "approx 2 1/2 hours in length.

i haven't found anything to show that they have, except in the reasoning book, they admit say this:.

"jehovah's witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets.
