  Do YOU Believe That JWs Have A Huge Problem With Pedophiles?

  i don't think there are more pedophiles in the religion than there are in others.. i understand that one is too many.

  but i think some believe that it's an epidemic within the organization.

  i believe their 2 witness rule can help pedophiles secretly abuse kids.. but i don't think that this particular crime dominates those in the religion.. .

  The organization has a huge problem with pedophiles, because they buy off lawsuits and pay for the lawyers of the pedophiles, while they should be spending those millions helping the victims instead. They side with the pedophiles. That's their problem.

  Can you imagine someone robbing an old lady and thinking "Oh no, we have to help those poor robbers! Let's pay their legal bills and ensure that they can live someplace else and tell nobody about their crimes." That's the kind of logic the GB has.

  How come you have to wait on Jehovah? Shouldn't he be faster than you?

  if jehovah created the universe, knows it all, et cetera, and then he has a direct line to the governing body, how come you're always told to "wait on jehovah"?

  can a simple earthling be faster in his or her reasoning than yhwh?

  can s/he notice something jehovah will miss?.

  Q: I don't understand this new doctrine, I mean look at last weeks awake, it says we know for sure that the generation of 1914 will witness armageddon, and now suddenly we have this overlapping stuff? And they changed the masthead!

  A: Jah's chariot moves quick and you have to keep up.

  Conclusion: Jehovah moves either slow or fast, whenever the GB needs him to. If the GB says jump, Jehovah asks "How high?"

  Biological evolution is slow. Millions-of-years slow. As slow as watching Mount Everest erode into a grassy knoll.

  Technological evolution outpaces biological evolution. The evolution you and I will be able to observe in our human lifetimes will be conscious evolution brought by body modifcation and genetic engineering. Think silicon implants. That's evolution you can perceive. We are already consciously altering the evolution of lifestock and plants such as soy beans that are resistent to disease and cows that produce certain proteins for medicine in their milk and it won't take long before we will start tinkering with our own DNA.

  i was thinking that in 2014 or possibly 2015 a lot of witnesses will start questioning the organisation and we might even see a mass exodus.. i know at a stage i thought 2014 wow a hundred years surely the end will be here by then.. do you think the fact that it will be a 100 years since 1914 might trigger a lot of leaving and questions?.

  or possibly they will still follow blindly, especially since the overlapping generations could go till 2070 or something?.

  there very well could be a mass exodus type of domino effect since many are there sometimes whole families because of one strong mate/friend/relative, and one seemingly "strong" person leaving could take a few with him and make many more question, thus the domino effect.. thoughts.. .
