  "our viewpoint may be distorted or limited" par 16 "mosaic law-he(god) did not enforce his own law"wtf.. so the gb/fds will tell us their distorted viewpoint.they say law given to imperfect judges who could not read hearts.yet the gb/fds says they can by their pharisaic laws and rules ie child abuse/shunning/etc.. why did god give the mosaic law if they could not read hearts.oh it was ok for the israelites to kill some people for adultery/murder but not david because they could not read his heart.wtf does it matter if he was sorry and repentent were not the others just as sorry and repentent.. b.

  the abuse took place in the 1970s and early 1980s in eastbourne and northamptonshire.

  i read that some are quite happy that another gb bites the dust.. i think of my "faithful" elderly jw mother who helped many many families come into the "truth".

  she's an intelligent woman.

  however, she's blinded by her beliefs (being in a cult).

  Jack Barr was a victim, being a slave to the WTS, but he was also a slave master. In this case he is both the perpetrator and the victim.

  Although every human death is a loss, his death could have positive consequences. Maybe the GB will become more hardcore and more people will leave because of it. In that sense, Jack Barr's death could be something to be happy about, even though it is a personal tragedy.

  Of course we would all rather have Jack come to his senses before dying, waking up from the heavy WTS yoke and actively try to free as many faithful sheep as possible.

  How about brother rising star? Baptized at age 10, pioneer at age 14, did not go to college, MS by age 20 and elder at age 25. Is a freelance cleaner, married after promoted to MS with a good looking but also insanely zealous pioneer sister. Some of them get promoted to CO, special pioneer, or get gobbled up by Bethel. I know about 10 of these brothers, one is now a CO at age 32. They always live in a crappy old apartment in a bad neighborhood, but on the inside the house looks perfect and is filled with the most modern equipment (all gifts). Usually they are immaculately groomed control freaks. They either have a crappy old car, or a brand new leased van (being a freelance cleaner and all). They're always born-ins and have elder dads.

  When they have a part or comment all they can speak of is doing more in FS, studying more and commenting more, and listening to the FDS. For CA or DA they help clean on friday, get a gazillion volunteer jobs and arrive each day at 6 am and don't leave until they are the last one left.

  When you observe them you get the feeling they have zero joy in their life. If you meet them, at first they are nice but once they notice you are not zealous enough the contact dies off.

  Just look at other famous JWs like Prince. He can entertain multiple female guests and have private sessions with them. A normal brother would get DF'd so hard doing stuff like that.

  What happens if after the 1000 year reign, a million years after it, another angel turns rogue, turns into a talking snake, and God has to prove him wrong again? Will billions of humans have to die to make God feel good about himself again? And again? And over and over again?

  To me God sounds like he isn't all that omnipotent.. more like a real good procrastinator

  Ordering a son to murder his parents? Sure sounds like Jehovah.. he doesn't mind killing a few innocent people here or there. The son probably tried to take a census, and had to murder his parents as punishment.
