A new start? Watchtower renaming at HQ Columbia Heights

who was in any doubt that our jw believe is a marketing model, see this pictures of the still existing hq of jw at columbia heights.. earlier comments on jwn that something is going to change in the organisation, these comments are true.. in a few years we will not talk about the watchtower society, we wil talk about jw.org.
i think the current leadership will make a transfer to a new start.

Interesting change. Instead of just trying to link themselves to Jehovah, the GB is now trying to link themselves to all JWs. Say anything bad about JW.org and JWs may think that someone is attacking them personally instead of the Org.
If more JWs do become connected, it will probably increase the number of JWs learning TTATT. If the WTBTS is transforming itself into a real estate holding company, it is probably in their best interest to lose about 3/4 of all JWs so that they can sell more real estate.

The fiance brought in witnesses today oh joy. QUESTIONS

they came to our door this morning and it's been a long time since i spoke to my parents.
i was never disfellowshipped because i was never baptized but there is still online limited contact.

i'm itching to tell him about my doubts (only about the new light, how i cant get my head around how the hs would direct us to believe falsehoods for decades, not about everything, that'd be suicide!

Hi Captain Blithering, You already know what is the correct answer for you because you wrote it in your post. Don't bother telling the CO your reasons (doubts) becasue he doesn't care. He wants you to just keep on serving the WTBTS.

Hi Daniel1555, Why do the elders think that you have doubts? If your wife is confiding with the elders about your doubts, you may have to lay down the law about your wife talking with the elers. Because of the serous ramifications to you and your family of being DF'ed/DA'ed, you should tell your wife not to talk to the elders about your doubts/feelings. You are trying to sort things out for yourself and do not need additional hypocracy/pressure from the elders. Have you thought about asking your wife simple questions to reach her authentic persona such as how would she like it if you told the elders that she had doubts that might reflect badly on the rest of the family?
Have you considered delaying meeting with the elders? How would texting them that you are too busy with working, family life, and studying the Bible to meet with them. You will call them when you are ready and please do not talk with your wife without you being present because you are the head of the household and they would be acting unscriptually.
Also, why did you tell your wife about your blood card? Until you read Steve Hassan's books, it is better not to talk to your wife about your doubts. Talk to her instead about vacation plans, doing fun things, working on a budget to increase your disposible income to have fun or invest for your future. Until the WTBTS predicts when the end will come aren't you responsible as head of the household to make sure that your family is spiritually strong (LOL), financially secure, and happy?

Hi Daniel1555, How about option 3? Option 3: Father learns how to help wife and child to critically thinking for themselves and successfully fades with his family from the WTBTS. If father wants to learn more, the father will read Steve Hassan's books (i.e., "Combatting Cult Mind Control", "Releasing the Bonds; Empowering People to Think for Themselves", and (his latest book) "Freedom of Mind: Helping Loved Ones Leave Controling People, Cults and Beliefs"), visit his website www.freedomofmind.com, and watch his videos on his website.
The father will also: make a plan to fade from the WTBTS with his family, vent on JWN to vent his emotions, ask questions on ways to help him and his family, start making friends with non-JWs who may have similar interest as his wife, support his child making non-JWs at school and accept play dates with non-JWs, encourage his child to independently research information and to go to college, and study the Bible with his family to help his wife and child to see that WTBTS doctrines are not based on the NT and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

According to one example in Steve Hassan's book "Combatting Cult Mind Control' a man suffered from his participation in a dangerous cult that was misdiagnosed by medical professionals in a foreign country as some psychological disorder, so I would not doubt that JWs cult personas could have attributes similar to sociopaths.
A former JW friend did exhibit traits that mimiced what could almost be considered a dual personality as well as rationalize her behavior to not pay others for services rendered.

How will WTBTS turn growth around
by joe134cd ini know sometimes i can come across as an opologist.
i just can't seem to help myself, and i do apologize.
i had a thought on how could the wtbts turn their fortunes around to reducing the out flow, and getting a more positive growth of publishers, particularly in western lands.

Hi joe134cd, I agree with what others have said that the GB and leaders of the WTBTS are stuck in a rut and what is worse they are a dangerous cult. The WTBTS will continue to increase their numbers by lowering requirements to be pioneers and publishers, and increase efforts to recruit non-English speaking people.
The WTBTS will also try to improve their marketing efforts on the internet with better webstie design and videos, but that will probably back-fire on them as they encourage JWs to use tablets and computers. The only good thing about the WTBTS going digital is it will allow them to revise their publications as needed and more efficiently. Read how the WTBTS revised its 1989 Watchtower propaganda of how the preaching work will endi after the 20th Century on JWFacts 20th Century.
