  after flipper's thread about the wt child abuse cases, i started to think about how many children i know of personally who have been sexually abused by a jw!.

  as someone who is not especially 'in the know', it's amazing that i do know five of them.

  one who was a small baby, at the time!.

  ASphereisnotaCircle, I really don't know how you got through that terrible time... feel so bad for you . You are very strong.

  Murray good thing you asked your question, a lot can relate to that I'll bet!

  Well so far the record is looking pretty lousy for the watchtower society!

  Our hearts go out to each and every one of you...on here & the lurkers and all those scared kids who can't figure out why the elders or daddy/mommy or god doesn't help them.

  When I started to 'wake-up' about 18 months ago, I read about the child abuse on Silent Lambs. Although it was a shocking revelation, it was one dimensional. I saw it as a case here and a case there but didn't see this underlying contamination .... a perfect breeding ground (no pun intended) for further unhealthy conditions and the resulting sexual abuses. Spreading from family to family.

  It's late and I'm starting to ramble ... so goodnight, sleep tight to all on the'day shift'.

  i was reading fatfreeks thread from the scandals and cover up section of this website, and its been confirmed that everyone on the cover of this watchtower from 1984 is indeed all dead.

  i dont know rather to feel sorry for these people who were willing victims of the watchtower false prophecy or feel a sense of satisfaction that the watchtower has been proven once again to be a false prophetic organization, using the bible to deceive people.

  its really just sad.

  when reading all of the variety of toppics on this site it appears by the lack of responses that some dont really care about your subject?

  or they just cant find the word to say, or they mosly like reading but not commenting.

  and some subjects ive read that have had many comments compared to others are just plane stupid as hell.

  Dear Lovedoctor,

  I post for many reasons ...usually on subjects that grab me by the gut or heart.

  I have lived in 8 decades and think, that just maybe, my advice could have some value to those who ask for it. I am thrilled when it does.

  If I reply to give support and then realize it's just a joke ...that turns me off.

  If I reply in all sincerity and it's never aknowledged, just more or less blown off by the poster ... after afew times I won't bother again.

  I love to reply to the posters like Mr Flipper. And I'll tell you why.............

  he talks to you .... he actually makes a note of his audience and thanks them.

  I love his manners, his warmth, his concern, his support and his heart.

  There are many on here like that and thank you so very much.

  they say the average person will own about 25 cars in their life time.. from 1982 to 1988 i owned a 1971 dodge challenger convertible.

  it had a 340 with a 4 speed stick.

  i loved that car.. i didnt cry when my wife left me....i did cry when that car drove out of my life!.

  I love cars ... been driving since I was 13.(precocious little girl-no license).

  Can't ever imagine not having a car to drive, currently a little japanese model gets me around (rather quickley)

  My dad had a 40's studebaker like Murray's picture. Running boards, visor & beautiful grillwork .... doesn't get any better than that!

  Dad also had a two door chev coupe with a rumble seat in back, my favorite.

  One car had doors that opened backward, wow if you opened the door while the car was moving, they'd blow right off! lol

  Dear Lady Lee,

  So very sorry about your Aunt & sisters ...how tragic and sad for you.

  Why is this happening so often in this organization? Really I've never seen anything like it!

  Is it because it's such a closed isolating group, where members feel they have a right to know everyone elses business.

  Do boundries become breeched because of this?? Advantage is taken because of missplaced trust in authority figures? Perhaps missplaced trust that god is watching everything and he will take care of it? It just so easy to gain acess to the vulnerable, isn't it.

  As Lee has said, pushing for convicted sex offenders to be registered on a child abuse registry, may go a long way to change things ... but the watchtower needs to start to view this as a crime and not a moral mistake.

  These cases need to be reported to the police and expose these criminals within the congregations. They say jehovahs name needs to be protected.... really they are just covering their collective asses!

  Surely jehovah can take care of his own name!

  Dear Flipper, first time at that hall, what an experience! No wonder he's your hero, omg the brother probably saved your kids from being taken in by that abuser!

  Don't you wish we all could just grab a mic and yell the truth into it!

  Thank you for this flipper ... it just substantiates Xwhyzee's report and pulls the curtain back a little farther, so we can see what's really going on inside!

  The watchtower only likes to be seen as doing good. The reality is a far different story! They aren't taking care of it.

  We have children repeatedly assaulted by same jw criminal, children assaulted by a 'group' of jw men & an child abuser in a congregation assaulting for over 25 yrs, and nothing done about it!

  Our count is now is 86 ... plus an unknown #of our children- see above.:-(

  Oh you guys this is just making me cry .....& so MAD!!!

  The saddest thing is to not be believed!

  The irony that children are punished for telling!

  The audacity that parents are not to warn others or be df'd.

  The evil in not stopping it.

  The crime in not reporting it.

  And exwhyzee for going beyond yourself ... for the exposure of evil, horrifying for sure and enlightening... a year ago I was under the delusion that this organization was upright! ...thank you for the eye opener.

  in just a few days reopened mind and me will be taking that big trek up to the north country.

  we have hit very few road blocks in the last months getting ready for our move.

  we will not be able to get high speed internet were we are moving to.
