  What does 2014 mean to you

  sometime in the early 1990s i made a commitment to myself that if the end did not come in 2014 i was going to walk away.

  then i started thinking - if i waited until 2014 i would be 57 years old with very few options.

  that is when i realized that i needed to make changes to get my life back.

  Goodbye to all

  i say goodbye to all of you because of the tremendous pressure from my family members who are jws.. anyhow, i enjoyed my association with you for a short period!

  it is part of life, as the bible says: we are all temporary residents here (hebrews 11:13).

  this is my favorite scripture that has helped me to remain always balanced and equi-poised, helping me not to be greedy towards things or people expecting from them too much!.

  2014 hmmmmm ...it really annoys me!

  It means a lot of wasted time btw 1960's & now!

  It means the point of no return!

  It means do or die!

  It means next NY's eve I won't be alone,

  being shunned!

  Mood Music: New Year's Eve version

  it's 18:00 here, the evening is young - but promising.. if you listen to music, to get you in a party or socializing mood, before going out on nye, please share it here.

  i am currently house-bound, but i would love to hear the festivities, as they kick off!

  [i live near one of the favourite nye fireworks locales in my city - a peaky park - so i'm fated to hear the noise later on.

  i don't know about the rest of you, but i have seen my fair share of death.

  both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, older jws that were pillars in the community.

  i even knew the first missionary in missouri, a brother named gerald golf.

  We learned too late that FAITH is not FACT!

  Same old story here ... family, friends & hero's

  all gone.

  NVR ...did you notice after 2010 DC, that older jw's

  who were shaken up badly by this news...... were told

  to stop the whining & complaining just like the Isrealites!

  That anger & disappointment got stuffed down ... but it

  has not gone away.

  No wonder the gb have taken good care of themselves

  & have sequesterd themselves into a safe bunker!

  when you were in the truth did you find websites like this and read what the other side has to say?

  i am in that stage and i feel as if i'm seeking out the ttatt.

  i feel the wt society is hiding way too much.

  Hi Mike ... step away when you have researched enough

  to actually see the corruption & prove that the information

  & messages that you have been programmed with are wrong.

  Otherwise you will walk away still feeling guilt & fear.
