I made that mistake also ... most on here did.
The spine of that book that holds the page that we turn ... is mind numbingly powerful.
The deceit & outright lies almost killed us.
The page is turned but the melody lingers on.
Your drink & my holding everyone at arms length, is part of that melody.
I think I am just going to burn the damn book!

When I think of my family attending the convention this summer ...I have a flash back to the Jews being tricked into believing that the path led to the 'showers'. They were poisoned instead.

The enormity of this Watchtower Evil is stunning. So stunning that it almost paralyzes me. Now the stakes are so high, that I fear saying the wrong thing. Surely many exjws, who so very much want to liberate their loved ones, feel this pressure too.
This, in my estimation, is why watchtower is shockingly ruling with an IRON hand, going well beyond the things written, beyond all human decency! They want to shut us up. They want us to give up.

If we ever needed governmental or media exposure ...we need it now.
What about informing media etc ahead of time also, sending out the assembly outline en masse, ahead of time. Watchtower is setting a trap for those not conforming to their rules ..... lets turn it back on them.

Yes lets keep loving our families and don't stop ...and help them to see watchtower for what it really is.

All those semi rulers, the Do's, CO's, etc etc know also.
Company men! All of them ....the DUPERS!

We at the lower levels are the DUPEES!

Some wake-up & still stay in. The rest just continue with their daily beatings! BUT ....all are complicit in the DUPING process!

As we prance around the neighborhoods & do street corner racking ....... a little voice in our head says to be careful, don't say "everything just yet" you don't want to put them off!
We hold back stuff we know the public would never accept ....if they only knew.

We don't tell them if they 'join' jw's they cannot leave without punishment.
We don't tell them we have Judge, Jury & Executioner in a little room ....just you & three men ....judging you to death or life! We don't tell you that these men will probably be 2 window washers & a real estate salesman!
Every holiday celebration will be forbidden.
Your children & you may die from lack of medical treatment!
Oh yeah we know this and hundreds more things we aren't telling ......... at first!

As long as we support this jehovah's witnesses organization in any way ....we are complicit in it.

It's so awkward that people have to touch the emblems

for a group that is against idolatry so much and yet each person has to "touch" the bread and wine.. one lady was standing and holding a baby.
she called the server over just so she could put her thumb on the bread and wine.. did jesus ever clarify what he wanted them to do in remembrance of him?

It always appeared to me to be a complete disappointment.
It is the only thing wt celebrates and it is so lifeless & so overblown!
Inside of an hour we are home again peeling off those high heels & pantyhose. Jackets & ties tossed on the back of the couch as the fatigue kicks in.
It has been 5 yrs out of the weird world of watchtower for me...never been happier!

what buzz word from the jw's do you hate & why?
by Sabin inso my hubby has been on a bit of a roll about the jdubs, we were talking a lot about them & he said the buzz word he hate's the most is "worldly" why?
because he say's "with that one word they have condemned (according to their believes) a person as being worthy of nothing but death.
