Hi you guys...3rdgen, & Witness007 nice to see ya!

Look at this ...4 newbies here right now...so glad you

joined this year....hope everything is going OK.

The first year is the hardest ....that's usually when you

take some pretty hard hits, friends withdrawing, discovering

you have been lied to for many years ...that is hard to take!

But I tell you.....finding out that all those burdensome loads,

& demands of obedience to stupid stuff .... is such a fantastic

relief & pure joy...........to be free is everything!

Breaking free & deprogramming is different for each

person......... the repetative going back & proving

points & tearing scripture apart ... is nessessary for

Well hello 3rdgen .....wow a long time since I

posted this. I would really like to know too, but

seems all we can do is guess.

There are hundreds showing up here lately,

almost entices me to start gathering names

again so we can welcome them.....I loved doing

the 3 Newbies threads and hope each person is

doing well and enjoying life to the fullest!

i never realized that rabies is the deadliest of all virusus worldwide; every year it's responsible for the deaths of 60,000 people, and untold animal death and suffering.. http://www.horizonhealth.eu/article/deadliest-viral-disease-we-know/306.

this virus has been afflicting human and animal life on this planet since the dawn of time.

how could anyone love a god who created this this tool of immense suffering?.

so what are you doing to enjoy yourself?

doesn't have to be for anyone around you, or have anything to do with jw world.

just something that you do for you and only you and that fills your soul (whatever that means).

I have always loved old houses & fixing them up.

I might have said 'restoring them' but ha ha...not

that talented! Landscaping & gardening excite me.

I read nonstop & when the muse strikes... write!

Enjoy conversation & good hearted debate........

Colours in everything ....especially sun rise & sun sets!

this is what somebody has been telling me, trying to convince me aside from anything one can say or cause reason for doubt, as the evidence that they are the true religion and true people of god.

they are convinced because while 'all other' christian and other religions support war, troops, etc, jw's don't and they are the only one's who carry god's name and preach.

nothing else matters.

that is the question for the next months ... i am 32 and i will turn 33 on december....i am freaking out!!!

my hubby and i have no children and we are not looking for one right now because im studying a masters.

i will finish subjects in june and after that i will write my thesis (6 more months).

Dudu......this is coming from experience.

Motherhood is only a half a lifetime job.

What do I mean by that?

In your case being only 32, you have time on

your side yet. Remember your children will be

starting their own life and moving out at

about 20yrs old........you will still be in your

50's and longing to have your own career!

So do you want to be just going back to school

then..... or finish your education now, have

it done with, and perhaps get your foot in the

door & keep working some hours while you raise

your family.

Maybe finish what you started.

i have not attended anything jw related for over a year.... until last week when i went to our one day convention.. why you ask?.

i can do what i want i'm a grown adult.. ok...ok...so my jw childhood friend who i have not seen forever, came by for a visit.. i mentally went through the check list:.

is she pioneering and need extra time?.

One really nice thing you get when you leave

a cult is............you can do what you darn well

want to do! You don't have to apologise for your

decision.

Everyone has their own sense of what will work

for them. If you make a decision & it doesn't

feel good .......do something else.

The point, is do not be pressured to do, or not do

something. There is no timetable. There is lots

of time ......the world is not going to end.

YOU are the boss of YOU.......rejoice in that!

that is the conclusion you must accept if you are a jehovah's witness as my wife tries to explain to me that even if what they are teaching today contradicts what they were previously teaching, they had the truth then and they have the truth now.

the difference is, they (the witnesses and the governing body) simply believed that what they were teaching at the time was the truth but when they discovered new information they adjusted their thinking.

so since they formerly believed it to be the truth, they were in the truth.. an example she gave involved people who once believed the earth was flat.
