Another ruse?

could the stopping of construction be just another ruse to squeeze money from the rank and file?.

it will certainly generate buzz like nothing else..

Isn't this project built on polluted ground ....with a lawsuit pending? Maybe it is so contaminated that it will be condemned and no one allowed to be on that land ...... maybe at this point it would just be throwing good money after bad to continue! ......OR maybe they knew about the contamination all along and this is just another chance to make money on the lawsuit! Of course whether or not the contamination would be hazardess to the health of the R&F would be beside the point ......they only worry about themselves.

I v'e noticed that too ........... when they get shown up ............ you can bet they will cover that little defect with a smarmy article that sounds like "butter wouldn't melt in their mouth" !

i was feeling particularly hopeless about the whole jws being assholes thing and sick to death of pretending so ....

i rang my sister and told her that i no longer believe jws have the truth and the phone went silent, when i asked her to say something she just said if that was the case then she would have to hang up on me and then proceeded to indeed hang up..

so i texted her back immediately with fu..

Just one day at a time ..... we can get through that & enjoy all those minutes. You would be surprised I think, to know how many jw's secretly wish they could get out just like you have. As this cult falls apart more & more we will be so glad we escaped early. Extreme emotions re today's watchtower

i was supposed to attend the meeting today, one of my once a month duties for the sake of my family and my fade.

i read the wt and i just can't stomach going.... what this wt does is again and again reiterate that only jws will survive the coming destruction and that they should be happy about this and raise ourselves erect...eg:.

we cannot expect that many people will suddenly convert to true christianity.

As if the written RULES are not enough ....all the innuendos, the persuasive nudges and the troubling conclusions that the j dubs come to, are so destructive & energy draining. I know of many who believe that they must give up their own privacy & make sacrifices to open their houses to all their friends & the not so friendly when the trouble starts. Many are troubled by worrying that "apostate" or worldly family members will try to harm them or even kill them when they have to preach that it is the end!!!! Every way we look at WT .....it is so very sick!

because of their beliefs they have a moral compass, a net work of friends and a support group.

they have what they believe is a loving god.

Ok ...to be serious .....I am an older ex jw..... and I would have been soooo pissed if I thought for one second that no one was bothering to advise me that I was in a cult just because they figured I was passed it!!!

Many feel this way & I respect your opinion but.................

Lets get this straight .... everyone deserves the facts, deserves to be informed that they are being used. I am so very relieved and happy to get away from that CULT thinking & CULT activity that I could do a happy dance! Please please please tell the truth & let each one decide what they want to do. Yes I have paid a price, but Omg ...I wasted 50 years ........ now I am my own person ...strong, interested, loving all the beautiful things and people in this wonderful earth we have ended up on. I am free.
