  No longer wanting to attend meetings

  hello everyone.. first post here.

  long time follower of this website, probably 4 years now.

  i've known about ttatt since ive been 18, im now 22 going on 23 but still go to meetings because of parents.

  i was at the one day assembly and the bethel speaker in talking about governing body member klein -referred to him as our king.

  wonder if governing body members will be so presumptuous to expect this title from the rank and file?.

  Wanna ..did you mean that the speakers name was Klein or that Klein was a gb member?

  I was at the one day assembly and the bethel speaker in talking about governing body member Klein -referred to him as our KING.

  I feel sick ....they have my grandkids.

  This may have been the feelings of those Jewish people who were in Hitler's concentration camps in WW2 .....watching their families walking in lines over to the Showers. The awake ones knew that they would be gassed.

  Liars of the worse kind. Both Hitler & Watchtower GB. In so many ways they mimic their Method of Operation.

  "Proves Jehovah Blessing" X Accomplishment - I don't get it?

  i am sure many of you have listened to the broadcast, a talk, a year book or any publication that jw's read.

  they always make a statement about some accomplishment followed by a line i don't get.

  first off, the 2nd a number doesn't look good, they always say, "jehovah isn't a good of numbers or popularity.

  Just curious

  i remember that every time when my father and i came home from the meeting, my mother (who stayed at home for my disabled brother) asked us "who was attending and who wasn't attending".. and then, we took some time to drink coffee and went through the list who was there and who wasn't.

  there after there was an opinion made why someone was absent and what this meant in relation with his strength of believe.. just curious, do you recognize this?
