i thought brothers had to be "exemplary" to do that kind of work.
have the requirements changed?
I would sure like to know their stand on a person who has both Male & female genatalia (hermaphrodite). From memory I am sure these individuals had to choose what they were, like that was going to help !!!
How did they explain the occurance of that ? Perhaps Mary was a hermaphrodite & thats how she got self impregnated !

In our congregation they used sisters to monitor the cameras as part of car park duty which the brothers should do. They had to wear a head scarf upon their heads as a means of respect & as a show of submission. They really did look stupid... :)

Think about it, JW's can have most blood fractions but not the whole blood, (whatever the difference is here who knows) so they would probably have to come up with some crap about which part of the bodies skin is acceptable .... lol
todays watchtower was especially nauseating but during the study one of them made the comment concerning the big a " jehovahs timetable is not contingent on all nations being saturated by the good news".
the study conductor reafirmed his point and then continued.. wait a fuggin minute!

AnneB - Long ago in a city far, far away, the JW's told me that Daniel spoke of an image with toes made partly of clay. It was explained to me that, in the "march of world powers", that after the "Anglo-American dual world power" fell there would be "anarchy". They said that the toes of clay meant that people wouldn't stick together, hence "anarchy".....
The JW's image has been altered this image to include the dual world power of Britian & America. The original ones do not have anything else included & look more like this one below!
why was there such a fuss about not doing yoga?.
i did my first yoga class today and whilst you are encouraged to not think about your days worries, you can hardly consider this vacating your mind, so as to let satan in!
it was more about holding stretching limbs and simply holding poses (such as holding your leg out straight etc).

I find it hilarious that I was so scared to even consider doing this...

im luke warm and dont know what side im on, i dont mix well and i dont want to be worldly if u know what i mean,im a good person with morals and nowadays thers not many of us left., not were i live anyways,its so hard leaving it behind cos now i duno what to do with myself, and i dont want to go out and live it up or go on face book or go meet loads a worldly people and be like everyone else, and i dont wana celebrate pagan hols even thoe i might do xmas i still feel weird doing that.i dont feel right with myself one bit..

i relate to your pain and suffering.
you remind me of the struggle i had for over a year, where i was pushing myself to go the meetings and even gave public talks because of friends and family, even when i knew it was all bullshit.
i was so sick to my stomach, that i literally felt like puking during the meetings.
Im free in so much that Ive become quite a good fader with my hubby ... We have managed to go no meetings in over a year now, but still have the JW's frequenting our door to encourage us back :( I want this to stop, but then to say so, we know this will set the wheels in motion of questions & it will get back to the rest of the JW family. Yet I say to myself I dont care what the family think anymore (but clearly I do)....
Difficult choices.... I just want to live the rest of our life doing as we please, (nothing crazy just normal) but how can we do that when we have the JW's frequenting our door so as to breath down our necks !

please be aware if you have just faded and were baptised , if you or your family have a major life or death accident the mongols from the hospital liason committe will always be there before you and will still try to take over the care for the family member.
why does this happen, you need to delete the master records of all family members and they are now not jw any more, if you don't they will still be called and you will have a fight on your hands to get them to leave.
contact your doctor / gp or hospital and get this sorted out.
Seems Americans have things sewed up, (HIPPA was enacted by the U.S. Congress in 1996). ... here in England the HIPPA doesnt apply....

In my experience it all depends on what you said in your letter. If you specificially said you want no further contact then I guess they will not contact you.... Remains to be seen whether they disregard your wishes.. Wouldnt be the first time that theyd do this....

You add the nice people you know & dont bother with the ones that you dont! You all share pictures of fun things you have done & tell your friends a little about your day. Nothing much different to this forum so Im not sure what the difference is.... Im not saying get facebook, but to think about the ways you are isolating yourself. If you are a believer in God then he wants you to Love others as you would love yourself. This would mean that you would share your lovelyness with others & they themselves would do likewise.
