One question tho, were you brought up in the 'truth'? are u studying? are you a newbie to it? just curious, cus despite everything you said, i still cant understand why your here, and if i was to 'report' you to your body of elders, i think they would highly dissapprove...what would you do then??? hmmm

this site has opened my eyes.. i am suprised as a one time 'do gooder witness' that so many on this site are still 'active' jw's!

and all the time i was a witness i really did not think that anyone would dare even look at such a site!!!!!.

i am also suprised at the number of people in the same situation as me, and the number of people who actually feel they have something to live for now they have left the org!.

Thats my next plan crisis of concience, i have been wanting to read it for years but never dared!

It was my little girls 8th birthday today and the first time I have EVER celebrated it, or a birthday...i cannot understand why my mother would never have done that for me to see my face light up and have a special day for her daughter.... :(

Anyway, I can change all that now for my family :-)

lisavegas, i feel the same.

Actually felt guilty when first looking at the site (down to the brainwashing), but feeling more and more normal as the time goes on, and relieved that i am in fact 'normal', and its ok to feel this way!

Just had to write this, as i am actually a little bit self confessed, obsessed with this site after only being a member a week!

Im sure that with time i will just move on and hopefully feel totally free and not feel so much of a need to justify my recent withdrawel from such a crazy society!
