Contribution Boxes At The Book Groups , Did You Donate More There Than The Hall ?

this may have been covered a few years back but the thought came to me just how much money the wathtower lost in contributions when they got rid of the book study groups in witnesess homes.

my book group was at my parents house and as it was always full, over 30 drones every tuesday night.

this caused mayhem in the road outside with all the cars double parking etc... the jw's at my group always put loads of wonga into the tin on the welsh dresser!

Never had contribution boxes at our book studies in Australia, either.

We did here in Melbourne, back in the 80's. Didn't see any in the 90's & 00's

I was too young to have any disposable ca$h in the 80's, so whatever money I did have was never wasted for Joe Hoover's dorky printing religion.

excuse me so called holy spirit directed governing body; what do you do when you discover that a long term hospital liaison committee elder who gives talks at all1 day assemblies, 2 day assemblies & district assemblies and is quite prominent n the victorian/nsw circuit, is addicted to pornography, particularly under age and bestiality porno?

and oh, if you have print outs of his internet log ins and internet history fully detailing his log ins from his work computer???

and im not talking breach of privacy, im talking his breach of work usage of computers, of which im in charge of the it.

WOW!!! This scum bag needs to be exposed but not at your expense Mattieu. I would love for you to expose him yet your job and your fading might be the price for exposing him . . . . tread carefully my friend.

PS: This elder was also well known for advising his fellow workmates of Judicial Committee decisions even before they were made known at the judicial committee meetings with the sinning offender (pre judged) and yes have the proof!!If you have been d’fd in the Sydenham/Melton/Sunbury area the last 5 years, please let me know.... Not only do I know you, but know your circumstance...

THIS is the real problem here!!! He has destroyed other people by prejudging them without even listening to them at the JC! The ones that were D'Fd because of this prejudging have had their world turned upside down! This has made me really mad!!!!

What Did You Avoid In Order To Be A Good JW?

we were always told how the demons .

we avoided 2 door cars because it was (obviously) not a good service car.. there are plenty of things that you might think of to add to the list of no-nos for jehovah's witnesses.

So called 'Demonic''Horror' movies & music! Did not want to bring Satan into my home/head....

Now I am watching as many so called 'Demonic''Horror' movies I can get my hands on.

Also buying a home, having kids, investing money for the future etc... In other words, just what zeroday* wrote: A LIFE!

Was You A Carpark Attendant ? At The Kingdom Hell?

it was shit!

we had to stand outside in all weathers like we were the elite police for the kingdum hell.

when all the cars were in we had to lock the gates but a few years ago when we had all finisied the brain washing meeting the gates had been super glued shut by some smack heads!!

No one directed traffic into our KH, no real need, people know how to drive and park in an empty spot. Never understood why some KH's had a car park attended...

I was however one of the few who did 'security' during the meeting. Now this was a REAL privilege because you were given a green light to leave the boring meeting and hang out in the car park. Now that was a privilege I wanted, thank you Joe Hoover!!!

What was the worst part of the conventions for YOU?

i thought it'd be fun to talk about what part of the conventions just made you cringe or be annoyed with.

i can remember a couple things:.

i remember after the tms when they put the list in the back on the announcement board, there were people that would get up while the last song was being sung to write down the info.

This is the main reason why I NEVER took the bus to the convention. I would hear of how they would sing dorky Kingdom songs and I avoided the bus like the plague.

All I heard for weeks before a Convention how great the Drama was going to be......

They SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!! No I did not look forward to the Drama.

I hated walking to the convention from the car park and back to my car at night as well. Our DC here in Melbourne is held at the Tennis Centre, the car park is a 10min walk away at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) The total capacity of the MCG is approximately 100,000. On most days there was a football match on and we had to walk through that massive crowd in our suits with our stupid JW badges....ahhhh how embarrassing!!!

Oh how sweet freedom is when you stop doing what you HATE!

one criticism (god, that word reminds me of the tms) was that my other videos weren't boring enough to match what it's really like as a jw, i think i've captured it a bit better in this video.. also, it's meant to be fairly non offensive because i hope jw's can take a sneaky peak.
