  when i was in school as young jw i would disregard any kind of knowledge that was against what i was taught by the wt.

  things evolution, the space, the age periods of the earth, the immnesity of the space, etc etc.

  anything that would bring more questions was also disregarded as not important enough to dedicate our valuable time.

  I am not sure. But men are very visual. I too look at pretty girls or attractive ladies and I am also a straight chick. Let's face it, beauty catches the eye. I don't think all men think nasty thoughts when admiring a gorgeous female, they just think, wow, that is pretty. She better get used to it from what you are saying!

  Dude, Chicks do not dig a skinny dude. We do not want our asses to be bigger than yours. So drink up! As stupid as it sounds, when I drink I do not do the sweet junk. I hate when I go out and everyone wants to order cherry bombs. Yuck. Vodka with a lemon works. I know people do not like to taste it, but its really the sweetness that makes the alchohol so caloric. A shot of vodka might have 60 or 80 calories....someone google that to prove me wrong. A good wheat beer, sure 160, but comprimise, you can drink something light at 120...if you skip a bun on your burger that day at lunch its a decent balance. I have perfected it. lol

  I have a business trip next week in TN. Anyone from there?

  I should let y'all know that I was misleading earlier. I am actually drinking a Johnny Walker whiskey and scotch blend and some cola that is made with 100% natural sweetner called Stevia, which is made with a leaf, so it has no calories. That means I can drink more and not get chubby.

  can you tell me why the society would ask for this much secrecy over the new elder book?

  apparently some elders want to have their books spiral bound.

  the branch has sent out specific instructions that it can be done only by an elder for other elders.

  I believe it is because it is such a concentration of protocol that is visibly an interpretation of the GB. It doesn't make one have to search for answers, it is there ripe for the pickins....AND, if someone was contemplating a "sin," they could use the book to find loopholes around a JC. Just my 2cents!
