since half of them ended up at my house on friday and saturday nights i was given a very shining report card.
he then told me that he would knock on my door bright and early in the morning to take me to breakfast with him and his wife.
a couple of them told they enjoy the articles i write in the art magazines and they were really happy to meet me.

We have "punked" people's offices at work before. Made dummies and put them sitting at their desks. Moved stuff around. Taken entire desks out, but put each item neatly on the floor as if the desk was still there. Hidden silly things in the drawers. We put a used pair of panty hose we found in the bathroom in my next door neighbors desk. She freaked out.
Just little pranks like that in the office. Those are pretty fun.

Oh, one more thing....have you ever heard of a game called LEFT, CENTER, RIGHT? It is a dice game....so fun with a LONG table of people. It is fun to gamble with too. Google it, and start the game, bring one dollar bills, it is a blast!

Aww sweetie, yes GO! It will be fun. Go there, have a big smile on your face, hold your shoulders back and head high. Look fabulous and happy! They will expect you to be all green and pale and waifey and uncomfortable.

Misery, I don't think he saw me, but I guess he could have. I was a chicken because I was with a supplier. I should have been brave and went up to him. Next time maybe. I don't like myself for not saying hello. Afterall, we live 50 miles away from each other.

I think I lurked on and off for a year or two. I never figured out how to navigate, etc and started posting until last summer. I come here for comfort, education and some laughs. Not really any really close friendships yet. I would like to meet other JWs in my area some day.
i'm a ministerial servant for some years now, but reached to the conclusion that i must get out of jws as soon as possible.
i can no longer waste my time in field service, at the kh or doing menial jobs for the congregation.
for some months now my field report is with one digit at the hours section and with empty spaces in magazines, brochures and the others.

I attended a huge well known "show" for the industry I am in today. I walk in and who do I see to my right? My elder uncle who I have not seen or spoke to in almost 2 years. What are the freaking odds? This show attracts people from all over the world, and he is right there. He did not see me, and I just stared for a bit. He is my moms brother. So weird that I could not go over and hug him and say hello for fear he would walk away from me and embarass me in front of the work associate I was with.
Just wanted to share that because it was so bizarre to see him standing there in flesh and blood.
i don't usually post regarding my personal relationship, but i need some help.. i've been married for 20+ years (married young, both of us raised as witnesses), and my wife and i have kids.
my wife feels like i've disappointed her, made a fool of her, and betrayed her when i stopped being a witness.
other than the witness-thing we seem to have a pretty good marriage, but she can't get over the fact that i'm never going to be a witness again.
doinmypart, do you go to meetings at all? Are you inactive? Just wondering what she is asking of you? What is her spiritual status among the JW's?
