by mamalove ini have a sub to netflix, but i think it is a rip off.
they raised their prices and i am in the market to find some kind of website with a reasonable fee charged to view movies or tv shows only.

Were you Stalked or Chased After Once you Exited the JW's by Elders ?
by flipper ini tried to fade off the map by moving 30 miles initially in 2004 after i exited in late 2003 .
the first several years they didn't bother me.
i ran into a elder from my former congregation in late 2005 in an antique store - he tried telling me i was wrong for stopping attending meetings.

FOODALLS
by Aussie Oz inpost 66 of 66. since 12/27/2010.
google_ad_section_start its become very apparent to me that this site is being monitored by either "died-in-the-wool" jws or "jesuits"..doesn't matter which because they are all the same.
all one has to do is just step back a takke a good look at all the "negitive" idiotic clap-trap that come at people just trying to express their own views on things here!

I don't need the DVD rental anymore. I rarely use it. Any ideas? If there is nothing out there, I guess I will stick with Netflix, but my kids are the ones who use it the most to watch old cartoons and stuff like that. Thanks!

I'm so very saddened right now
by sooner7nc ini just received this from an old friend on fb.
i can't hang with an apostate or someone cheering.
on apostates...of course, if jw's are not your cup.

You handled it well. Too bad he is blinded now. The fact that he is an inactive JW really makes me think he is a haughty, hypocrite. He obviously is not very proud of himself or confident, otherwise he would not have put you down so much and tried to elevate himself. He knows....when people criticize like that, they sense their own inadequacy. You might have triggered some feelings in him. You never know that he might wake up. Took me a long time to wake up. Hang in there!

Are you just going to join so you can go to the foreign language group once in a while? Or are you truly going to join, go in service, comment, give talks?

Verifiable Former Bethelite Willing to Answer questions
by Uzzah ini am a former active poster here, former elder, former bethelite and pretty much known by people on the xjw boards since the mid 90's.
gawd that makes me sound old.. i notice that a great deal of uproar is being made by allegations of a hide in the closet alleged bethelite.
to counter the damage caused by this claim, i am happy to address any questions people may have about bethel, protocol, etc.. i was at the canada branch for 11 years, worked in multiple areas including the legal department, service desk and writing dept.

Hey there Uzzah, loved this thread, I wish I could think of something original and interesting to ask, but I can't right now except for one little thing. Let's say there was a couple in my old KH that were married to other people...both made to leave Bethel under circumstances that is clear there was some hanky panky. They arrive at my KH newly married and secretive about their "courtship." Eventually it comes out they met at Bethel and left "together." Eventually they are both regular pioneers, elder, etc again within a few years.
If they had stayed in the NY area, do you think that would have happened? Or was it because they were so far removed from Bethel territory they were given their honors back so fast?

Suicide : John Wischuck
by torre inin 1990 john wischuck one of the heavyweights (member of the factory committee)at brooklyn hq committed suicide jumping from the window of his room down to the ground) this episode passed unnoticed for most of the jw all around the world.
a few weeks later that year, max larson was visiting the branch in spain and he didnt mention anything at all of the dead.
only good news and how jw were succeeding and all that kind of rubbish.

I read the news piece. Interesting the Witnesses gave him a memorial at the KH despire his suicide, when they normally do not for suicide. Wonder if that was becuase of his Bethel ranking, or if they really did feel pity for his sad circumstances and wanted to give him proper recognition and made an exception for his case. Really sad. Wow.
Yknot, that is so disgusting! I cannot believe that!!!
