Would it be horribly wrong to do this:

I have 2 roommates. I'd thought about filling out "Would you welcome a bible study?" request, so that some JWs could come to my house. When they got there I would tell them, "Sorry, Roommate A, isn't here now, but come on in (said the spider to the fly)." :) Then I would question them on doctrine ONLY an ex-witness would know, and see where their faith lies... (ooh.. double entendre!)

P.S. I don't mind "stumbling", "weakening one's faith", etc.... because in the end, it would only lead to a happier, more well-adjusted life.

Like JWs LOVE to say," I'd be doing a LIFE-SAVING WORK!"

Most likely I'd just open the door, "Hi. I'm an apostate. Boogity boogity!"

Well said Finally-free... but isn't that what JWs are taught? To lead double lives, be deceitful, wear the "facade of holiness" yet inside "they are full of all sorts of filth and disgusting things"(Insert random bible book, chapter, verse).

Was the legend about Smurfs being demonic just an urban legend, or was it mentioned in the literature?

i never heard about the smurfs being evil until i joined the forum.

but when i look in the volume library, the word doesn't come up.

i was wondering if anyone ever heard mention of it in the literature--as in, was it an official position?.

Smurfs were communists. I don't see why the JWs had a problem with them. The male smurfs never got laid, and Smurfette knew her place and kept it. And the oldest, Papa Smurf, was the leader. Isn't that what JWs want? No sex, women kept in "their place" and to listen to the ramblings of dottering old men far out of touch from reality?

With your questions at the beginning of the thread, you indicate the unholiness and outright apostasy of WTBS.

You answered all of your own questions, indicating that Jehovah's Witnesses are no different than other religions.
YET - Your church (since you're like all other religions, we'll just call it that) PROCLAIMS they are the ONLY TRUE religions, just like all others.

IF there is a god (which I find no evidence to support such a wild theory), Jehovah's Witnesses SHOULD be the first group destroyed in Armageddon. (I'll be there, roasting marshmellows over the rubble of 25 Columbia Heights.)
