A Jehovah Witness decided to throw a party for a family that was moving to another Kingdom Hall, the whole congeration was invited, and an elder at the party humiliated me in front of everyone. I thought at that time that JW were the true religion, and that they were trusting people. I was very emberaced and very hurt. From that moment I started to question the religion. I think of him often and I wish I could see him again, SO I CAN THANK HIM, HE WAS THE DOOR TO THE REAL TRUTH, if that incident wouldn't had happen I probably would still had been a JW.

Do Jehovah Witnesses that work at bethel get money from the Watchtower? What about their personal expenses? What if they die? Does the Watchtower pay for their funeral expenses? Or if they get sick? What happens if they become disable? Can someone answer any of these questions?

Bible Contradictions
by brotherdan ini will go out on a limb and say that this has probably been discussed alot.
but for my own personal benefit i'd like to hear everyones "favorite" bible contradiction.
i'd also like to hear any refutes that anyone has to any of these contradictions.

Has any one ever noticed that there are no pyramids in the Bible? Despite the fact that these structures would have certainly been the talk of the ancient world? Also there are no cats in the bible either, eventhough the cat was of the most significant animal figures in Egyptian religion. Also the Bible fails to record the names of the pharaohs of Egypt, who held such great importance to the people of Israel, while it is filled with the names of many other ancient kings.

Young JW's
by XPeterX infrom what i've noticed 'wordly' teens or very young adults won't follow jw's.most teens/young jw's are born in,so boasting about the theocratic youth is actually boasting about jw children lol..

THE MAJORITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE GET BAPTIZE TO PLEASE THIER PARENTS, EVEN IF THEY SAY IS FOR JEHOVAH, THEY ARE DOING IT TO BE ACCEPTED BY THIER FAMILY AND JEHOVAH WITNESSES. WHEN THEY REACH A MATURE AGE THAT IS WHEN THEY REALIZE THE MISTAKE THEY MADE AND SO THEY LEAVE THE RELIGION. THE ONES THAT STAY WITH TIME BECOME MISARABLE AND CONFUSED, THEY FEEL THAT THEY HAVE LOST SOMETHING, AND THAT SOMETHING IS THEIR FREEDOM TO THINK AND TO CHOOSE.
