i just thought i would flag this as something i have long despised about the magazines, since long before i made the decision to distance myself emotionally from the the organization.

this isn't a big deal or anything, and ranks way down on my list of concerns about the society, but i felt it was worth mentioning nonetheless.. as you will know, frequently in the magazines an experience will be quoted (portrayed as being real, although we are often left wondering whether it is), and in such an experience a name will be mentioned followed by an asterisk (*) which leads to a footnote which reads "some names have been changed.".

out of interest, i went on my 2010 watchtower library and typed in "some names have been changed", and found that this footnote had been repeated no less than 69 times between 1994 and 2010 (39 times in the watchtower, and 30 times in the awake).

when I speak to my wife about the society/wt/gb/anointed/the..truth she says ok thats enough

sometimes I feel I got what something important out but most of the time its the training we recieved that I never new was so powerful. Anything negative and spoken against not god but the Org should be viewed as apostate.

This is a powerful statement that we have heard 1 time or another. A God of love would not let all this shit happen, even if I said shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love beats shit but shit keeps happening

One sis spoke to my wife and said she saw something I wrote on line. Told my wife I'm a nonbeliever. My wife is still very active and knows how I feel and is not happy but knows she still my wife. Anyhow my new problem is an Elder recently told my wife he needed to talk to her and will do so on sunday. what should I make of this and will the elders cause trouble between marraige mates. Do they have a scriptual right to speak to my wife about me?

could it be that the reason for all lies, deception and evil in the world is actually part of a grand design to act as a catalyst for our spiritual development?.

could it be that it is necessary to know evil in order to appreciate the beauty of goodness and peace?.

could it be that those who knowingly participate in evil for their own gain will receive a punishment for it, while others who are victims of the evil will grow closer to spiritual perfection if they mature through it and triumph over it?.

my take on this weekends Assembly

wow and so many are excited about us killing so many trees to repeat the same thing over and over again.

i need to vent a bit and could easily get on to many issues of wtbts and its goober body.
