  How do you guys feel during the holidays?

  this is a very lonely time of year for me i admit it.

  i'm suppose to be going over my aunties house wednesday after work.

  but going to christmas/holiday parties and get togethers, i still kinda feel out of place.. i really wish i grew up celebrating the holidays more.

  you all should be ashamed of your egotistical selves.

  how can you leave god's organization to celebrate the work of satan the devil?

  it just goes to show you how jehovah's christian witnesses are correct about how persons will leave the truth for their own selfish desires.. first off, christmas is a pagan holiday and it proves no spirit with the almighty jehovah and his son, the christ.

  NAVYTOWN- you are right. Witnesses only hate holidays because they are TOLD to.

  Everything they believe is what the GB TELLS them to.

  No thinking required, or allowed.

  Anyone here close to Grace Gough/Mouthy?

  if anyone knows mouthy/grace gough, it would be awesome if someone would look in on her.

  she is feeling the effects of the ice storm and is all alone and it is christmas eve.

  Hubby went out in service today.

  i can't believe hubby and sis in law actually went out in service today.

  when he left this morrning i reminded him to inform those who didn't slam their doors on them that if they join your cult that this will be the last christmas, holiday and birthday they will be allowed to celebrate.

  i thought it very inapproiate going out today to knock on doors trying to get converts..

  I used to go out in FS on Christmas-we were especially encouraged to as people would be home and their thoughts would be on Jesus! Back then the magazines always featured articles about Christmas (pagan origins of course!) and would feature Jesus usually on the cover of one of the December issues.

  In later years we would use the Greatest Man book in December door to door.

  But I also felt we were disturbing people too much going door to door on Christmas and stopped going out then. I have not been out in door to door FS in about 13 years but stopped going out on Christmas long before that.

  yesterday, stand for pure worship confessed that he has been trolling jwn, as he has through many incarnations.. it makes me wonder if any of the jw apologists that have posted here over my last two years have been real: scholar, recovery, and so forth..

  Makes me think any jw apologists on jwn must be fake.

  When I was still an active jw I never took part in "apostate" discussions or forums.

  But it is good if someone like "sfpw" helps you to see through false jw teachings more clearly.
