  Why are the number of partakers going up?

  i don't think the elders should count any partaker who is not a member of their congregation.

  Where did you find it? I cannot find it on jw.org

  Of course they still do not feature the history of jws in the USA. The US appeared in the 1975 YB. Since then they have featured again most other countries bringing their history up to the present.

  But they do not feature the USA, I wonder why.

  How Cold is it Where You Are?

  with the polar vortex swirling further and further south and breaking records how cold is it where you are?.

  here in gettysburg pa last night night we hit a low of -4 degrees but we were blessed with some wind that dropped the wind chill down to -22..

  No 2014 JW Yearbook (Yet as of 1-6-14)

  for me is very strange that the yearbook for 2014 is not out yet on the internet and/or gongregations.

  is strange to me because it is a book that comes annually, and no word yet from the borg of it.

  you don't expect something like that from the wt/fds/gb to be dlayed that much.. it makes me wonder, what's going on???

  What is to stop them from claiming the partakers are now going down again and printing a lower number?

  I used to believe they were always being truthful in their statistics, now I am not so sure.

  Deepest sympathies to all ex-JWs who've been hurt by the 'WORLD'

  this topic is in sympathy for all jehovah's witnesses visiting this site who have had bad experiences after they left the jws and went out into the world.

  i've heard many ex-jehovah's witnesses saying, "well, i went into the world and found nothing but trouble!!

  people were mean to me!

  The wts needs its followers to be fully deependent on them. They set jws up to fail so they can continue their hold and control on them.

  Yearbook is late this year

  usually i recieve an advanced yb but have not this year.

  i also notice they have not posted it yet on jw.org.. i wonder if this is due to problems at the printery at wallkill or they decided to produce the yb later from now on?.

  or perhaps they decided not to publish it any more.. anyone have any info on this?.

  You mean the YB is not produced by Jehovah's spirit? He could not get the yearbook out on time?

  Jehovah has to rely on wordly servers and computer networks. Jehovah decided to intervene with the weather near Wallkill for the new bibles, but for the new yb...not so much!

  The simplified w was posted today, still no YB.

  Either they are waiting to post it AFTER congregations recieve their copies, or they are publishing it later.

  The past two years it was online by late December.

  Of course, they may not be publishing it at all!

  Either way, very strange!

  If you study the TRUTH book with someone you will be disfellowshipped for apostacy, yet that is the book they studied with me!

  If the Reasoning book does go out of print, then yes, any witness who still uses it will be considered spiritually weak and warned not to use it any more. After that, if they still use it they will be disfellowshipped for apostasy.

  No doubt the Proclaimers book will go out of print too.

  The presses at Wallkill can each print 180,000 YB size book signatures an hour. The softcover bindery can produce 100,000 books a day.

  They cannot be behind because of printing the new Bible unless they no longer have the same equipment they had last year or something has/is changing in the Wallkill factory.
