When did a mass exodus take place before?

I began studying in 1976, that year saw a 2% increase.

In 1977 there was a 1% decrease and in 1978 a 1.4% decrease. Then 1979 had an increase of 0.5% and in 1980 an increase of 3.5% with a new all-time peak in pubs.

This was the aftermath of 1975. But there was no "mass exodus."

It will be interesting if 2015-16 bring small decreases. But the new headquarters in 2017 and related hype/exitement could cause another all time peak.

Perhaps there will be small decreases at various times but I think jws will still be around long after I'm gone.

well my wife and i still arent attending meetings....we first agreed to go here and there...oops.

anyways we missed the last meeting and suddenly our phone blew up!

it was like 17 missed calls!

another property in tuxedo park was but they were not able to get permits, lawsuits followed with the former owner, don't know how it turned out but it was a mess.

wat kept the property in tuxedo to use as a staging zone for the big construction at sterling forest lake.

The WEC will be increased by over 900,000 sq ft including a 500,000 sq ft office bldg if they stick to their plans to expand there. If so, WEC will have 2.8 million sq ft of floor space in it's buildings.

Wallkill will have some 2.5 million sq ft of floor space in it's buildings when expansion is completed there by the end of next year.

Warwick will have 1.5 million sq ft of floor space in it's bldgs once construction is completed there in 2017.

But by selling all 42 of the Brooklyn properties (that was the total before anything was sold) they lose around 4 million sq ft of floor space.

Sorry if this is boring anyone! lol!

They wanted to build in Ramapo originally, could not get tax exempt status. I wonder what happened to the property they bought there?

Thank you for the photos Own Accord! The book looks like a hardcover. I hope it is not limited, I called my jw brother and left him a message to pick up copies of the new releases for me when he goes to his convention this summer. I did not tell him what they are-I know he wants to be surprised. But I told him I especially want the publication released on Saterday & when he gets it he will know why.

I hope he won't have a problem picking up an extra copy for me.

If I was still an active witness the brochures on family & children would not interest me, but the new book would be a highlight to me.

Has anyone noticed that after years of cut backs to the printing budget, they have produced the expensive new nwt and this seems to be a hardcover book. Most books other then for congregation use, are softcover.

Plus, they released both brochures during the same talk.

5 new convention releases- I'm sur most jws will be glad.

Thank you for going to the trouble of sharing all of these notes & photos of the new rteleases with us OwnAcord! we are getting this info weeks before the first US convention even begins!
