Seems to me that unless Putin is somehow eliminated Ukraine is destined to go down kicking and screaming into servitude.
Whatever happens it will not lead to the biblical version of Armageddon.

You are right. I believe if Putin cannot save face, ie., get some meaningful concessions from Ukraine, then he cannot back down now that the war is on and lives have been lost. Otherwise he now must press on to victory. There is no repentance...it's all about him and his image now.

We should go to the New Testament to find the answer. There we find that the many prophecies i n the Old Testament had pointed forward to the Messiah and Deliverer of Israel. Isaiah 9:6 r eveal ed that to the Messiah these names would apply: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace. But only in the New Testament do we finally find their fulfillment in Christ the Messiah, as the names he is called by. And the New Testament reveals the name that Christians must call upon for salvation. What is it?

The actual leaders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses are known as the Governing Body.
Jehovah’s Witnesses on here will be quick to try and convince you that they have no leader other than Jesus and that the governing body are not leaders… no, no… get this, they’re simply men “who take the lead”… which is the very definition of a leader.
The governing body are 8 mentally ill and/or deluded men running the Jehovah’s Witness religion from New York.
- Kenneth Cook. A man who, so far, is the only one who has managed to not make a total fool of himself on camera (but there’s still time).
- Samuel Herd. A man who, by his own admission, only studied with the Jehovah’s Witnesses back in the 1950s because he wanted to date a Jehovah’s Witness girl.[1] Sam believes that women have smaller brains than men and that for this reason “are just not equipped for the role of headship” and that any woman who wishes to teach from the platform must be a closet homosexual.[2]
- Geoffrey Jackson. A man who had to be dragged to testify in court to defend his own religions policies of allowing child molesters to walk free unless two witnesses saw them rape a child. He also lied in court stating that his cult does not condone smacking children.[3]
- Stephen Lett. A mentally ill man who claimed that children who were raped and reported their rapist to the police were lying.[4] He also has a peculiar way of speaking - very much like Heavens Gate cult leader Marshall Applewhite.
- Gerrit Losch. A man who so desperately didn't want to attend court to defend a child molestation lawsuit that he actually claimed to not be a member of the Watchtower society.[5]
- Tony Morris III. The most dangerous and unlikable member of the governing body. A Vietnam veteran who’s still suffering from PTSD, has a penchant for expensive scotch[6], celebrated the death of a child who refused a blood transfusion[7] and informed Jehovah’s Witnesses that if they don't spend all their time preaching then god will see blood on their hands and slaughter them in Armageddon. [8]
- Mark Sanderson. The only governing body member who willingly turned up for court… but only because the Russian government were trying to ban his cult and confiscate their property. When the court banned his “religion” as extremist he took the first plane out of the country leaving Russian JW’s high and dry.[9]
- David Splane. A man (who’s combover is fooling no one) who actually told the members that when Jesus said “This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur,” that he actually meant TWO overlapping generations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. One that was alive in 1914 and one that was alive at the same time as that group, and that Armageddon will come before the second group pass away.[10]

Back in the late 70s there was a witch hunt at Watchtower headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. There were Jehovah's Witnesses, including Bethel Elders, who were meeting in privategroups studying the Scriptures independent of Watchtower authority or publications.
As a result, different conclusions were being learned than those of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. The Governing Body began a witch hunt purging the headquarters of all those who would differ from their views. Conditions at Bethel became so extreme, that former Bethel Elder, Randall Watters, felt that the next governing body requirement would be to click his heels and give a "Heil Hitler"!
The book that the Society used to indoctrinate at that time was THE TRUTH that leads to ETERNAL LIFE. These small Bible groups at Bethel decided to publish their own views and the result is this Truth Book. The Bethelites Truth Book edition!
Even a mention that this book existed would have been grounds for immediate disfellowshipping, and swift removal from Watchtower Headquarters. This book was owned by Ray Franz' close friend Tom Cabeen, who worked at Bethel and was in charge of the printing presses. Tom gave the book to a Bible Student, who in turn sent the book to us. This book has gone unnoticed by the general public for almost 40 years.
The covers for these books were printed on Watchtower presses, and it is not known how many copies were made or how many copies survived. What is known however, is that this book was published in secret at Watchtower Headquarters by Bethelites, who only wanted to read the Bible by itself. The Watchtower Society's Governing Body could not allow this to happen.
If a Jehovah's Witness were ever caught with this book at Watchtower Bethel, the governing body would not even loan them a shovel to dig their own grave!

It is based on the same book however, and published secretly by Bethelites right under the nose of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. Please note the two underlined words in each book title which are different.

by psyco inforgetting for a moment the past, let us imagine that now we are about 8,000,000,000 people in the world and jws are about 8,000,000.8,000,000 / 8,000,000,000 = 0.1%.this means that satan can mislead 99.9% (100 - 0.1) of the people in the world.after 1,000 years, when humankind will be perfect again, since "the number of these is as the sand of the sea" (revelation 20:8), once again a huge amount of perfect people will get misled by satan.if the reason for this big number was because of the imperfection, that means adam and eve's fault, not so many "perfect" people should get misled by satan in the future paradise.so, could you think that 99.9% of the perfect angels are demons misled by satan?
if not, why is satan able or allowed to mislead so many more (imperfect and) perfect humans than angels?another question is: if god "does not desire anyone to be destroyed" (2 peter 3:9), why does he allow satan to be able to mislead 99.9% of people since he knows in advance that "many, i tell you, will seek to get in but will not be able" (luke 13:24), and "the number of these is as the sand of the sea" (revelation 20:8), and "go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it" (matthew 7:13, 14)?
should not it be the other way around as a logical statistic?

On Satan’s side will be all the rest of mankind, more than 99.9 percent, even as we read: "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." That includes all the governments of the world together with their supporters, the commercial, religious and social institutions.... Armageddon will be the worst thing ever to hit this earth in the history of man.
