Right on. According to the the Watchtower August 15, 1972 p.419 entitled, "Working Hard for the Reward of Eternal Life"

"19 Not only a right view of the preaching work is needed, but a right view of the reward. Do not be mistaken, working for the reward can indeed be harmonized with working out of love for God. How is that? It is God who holds out the reward and bids us to strive to gain it."

The Watchtower version of eternal life is the proverbial carrot on a stick. Keep working hard to survive Armageddon and then work for 1000 more years to gain eternal life. You are never sure if you are making yourself worthy of the reward. Such a pathetic gospel.

Your explanation does not justify your organization's judgments. Your organization has judged that millions of Christians who were martyred for their faith in Christ prior to the 20th century were not real Christians. Similarly today your Governing Body has judged all who name the name of Christ that are not JWs are also professed but not real Christians and therefore worthy of destruction if alive when Armageddon strikes. And you agree with them.

On what basis do Jehovah's Witnesses judge that those millions martyred prior to the twentieth century were not Christians?

There is a difference between adjudication and interpretation.

Evidently Watchtower has judged that Adam is not worthy of a resurrection. Not only has the Governing Body determined that Adam will be eternally destroyed, but they also have judged that all apostates to their organization are not worthy of a resurrection and that 8 billion non-JWs will be eternally destroyed at Armageddon as well.

According to JWs, will Adam be resurrected to judgment, resurrected to glory ... or will he not be resurrected at all?

How about people who died in the flood and those God destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah?

114,000, Literal, or Symbolic?

i had casually conjectured that this number was likely symbolic in line with the book of revelation being mostly symbolic in kind.
