WT and Deathbed Salvation?
by Vanderhoven7 ineight million jehovah's witnesses do not believe they are saved, so how can they in short order tell you how to get saved on your deathbed?.
instead, they might tell you, “look you are about to die and the great tribulation has not started yet, so you don't need to repent and believe anything really.
just die and your death will pay for your sins and unless you have sinned against the holy spirit, you will be raised along with most everybody else and learn from others such as abraham, isaac and jacob, how to live for the kingdom during the 1000 year reign of christ.

Eight million Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe they are saved, so how can they in short order tell you how to get saved on your deathbed?
Instead, they might tell you, “Look you are about to die and the great tribulation has not started yet, so you don't need to repent and believe anything really. Just die and your death will pay for your sins and unless you have sinned against the Holy Spirit, you will be raised along with most everybody else and learn from others such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, how to live for the kingdom during the 1000 year reign of Christ. If you pass a final test at the close of the 1000 years you will have attained your own righteousness and will live forever on the earth. So again, you don't have to believe anything or repent.”
What Witnesses will fail to tell you is “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!”. They will not reiterate Jesus’ words, “Repent and believe the gospel!” Nor will they remind you of Jesus’ warning, “ If you believe not on me, you will die in your sins!” Sadly, JWs would rather you trust the words of men instead of the words of Jesus Christ.

Here is my last post in a debate I had tonight with a JW on another forum before he gave me the kiss of death i.e., told me off and disabled further comments.
Me: Your faith for salvation is entirely in men in Warwick New York you identify as the Faithful Slave.
JW: Your statement is a lie.
Actually it's the truth which you don't want to hear. The Faithful Slave says you must trust them or you don't trust Jehovah. Will anyone who doesn't trust Jehovah survive Armageddon? You tell me. Where does the Bible say you will not survive Armageddon if you don't trust these men in New York?
The Bible, God's word, does not say this, but your Faithful Slave does. So your faith is not in the Bible, but in men who say that trust in them is essential to your salvation.

@Iwant2know
Eternal life is knowing Father and Son. Jn.17:3
The word for knowing is ginosko, not knosis. It is not just knowing facts about a person, but actually knowing the person?
For example, do you know Prince Charles personally? Or do you just know some facts about him?
Do you know (ginosko) the apostle Paul?
Do you know the angel Gabriel?
Do you know Michael the archangel?
Do you have a personal relationship with Michael?
What is revealing about Jehovah’s Witnesses is that they have an unrelatable Jesus.
Let me prove it to you...
When is the last time you spoke to Jesus?. Can you even say something like, "Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins? I am so glad I can share my burdens with you!"
If you can't fellowship with your Creator, the truth is, you don't know Jesus and you don’t have eternal life.

All we know is that Tony was replaced by two more stooges who will continue to act in their own best interests and talk through their hats like all the others to perpetuate the myth of the Faithful Slave..

And all overcomers will reign with him.
Revelation 2:26 KJV — And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
They overcome by the blood of the Lamb (gospel of Christ) and the word of their testimony (word of God) Revelation 12:11 -

Did Geoffrey Jackson lie under oath at the ARC?
by Vanderhoven7 ini understand he intimated that the faithful slave was not the only spokesman for jehovah god.
he also intimated that corporal punishment was not advocated by the wts.
we're these lies or deception or did they represent the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?.

Right on Dreary!
Mark Jones writes
Yes.
The transcript is available on the Australian Royal Commission website here:
Take a look at page 28. See what took place from line 8:
If you watch the video, you’ll notice that he appears nervous when he says “no” in line 26.
Why?
Because, as every Jehovah’s Witness knows, he’s lying.
"It shows real love on the part of a parent to do whatever he can to correct his child, including spanking him." - Watchtower 1973 Sep 15 pp.556-557
"A spanking may be a lifesaver to a child, for God’s Word says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod, he will not die. With the rod you yourself should beat him, that you may deliver his very soul from Sheol [the grave] itself.” Again, “Foolishness is tied up with the heart of a boy; the rod of discipline is what will remove it far from him.” If parents hold their children’s life interests dear to them, they will not weakly or carelessly let disciplinary action slip from their hands. Love will motivate them to take action, wisely and fairly, when it is needed." - Making Your Family Life Happy (1978) p.132
“The Bible is clear that discipline includes good teaching and example, but does it exclude spanking? No, for Proverbs 23:13 says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod [or hand], he will not die.”” Watchtower 1979 May 1 p.30
"Permissiveness breeds both juvenile insecurity and delinquency. … But both “rod and reproof” are needed." - Watchtower 1986 Nov 1 pp.22-23
Hell, every person raised as a Jehovah’s Witness will remember being taken in the “the back room” where you’d be smacked by your parents if you spoke during the meeting or they thought you weren't paying attention.
I wonder why a governing body member would tell the members one thing, but tell non-members the opposite?
You know, like a cult?

Why is the world still messed up?
Because Jesus Christ's parousia is still future. Until then, Jesus is only ruling in the hearts of those who have repented and believed His gospel. Nothing to do with 1874, 1914, 1919, men in New York or religion.
